She hugged him tightly not wanting to let go, but it was useless, she knew tonight was going to be the last time she would see him as a bachelor. She moved him to arm's length and smiled as best as she could, even as tears formed in her eyes. Gulping she looked at him straight in the face, "Ne, I am invited to your wedding right?" she chided lightly.

"Baka, who would want your ugly mug to ruin their wedding." Sasuke joked.

She lightly hit him in his arm. "You should go get ready, you have to be there in 2 hours and traffic jams are murder at this time 'til 6 in the afternoon."

"Thanks." Sasuke replied as he left the room to change. Taking this opportunity Naruko went into her room to change. She reminisced when she first met him, not that she did it intentionally but the memories came and went whenever they wanted to. She had first met him when Naruto, her twin brother, had brought him over for dinner. A calm kid amid her chaotic family, she wondered if she had reached out to him, would she had been the bride at this moment. No probably not, it was quite clear Naruto had been his first and only crush throughout their adolescent life.

She wiped her tears away and pinched her cheeks before leaving the room. "Are you ready?" She asked him.

Hn, Sasuke replied shyly. It surprised her, because she had never seen this side of him until now, smiling grimly Naruko motioned Sasuke to follow her.

As they left they grudgingly headed for the highway of misery all the way towards the altar where Naruto awaited for Sasuke.

To all the guest the wedding was beautiful but for her it was a bittersweet moment that would last for her life time.
