Disclaimer; I don't own Red Eye.

Summary; I always win, Leese. Always. You can try all you want to prove me wrong but in the end you'll see how weak you truly are.
A/N; My first red eye fic. This isnt a Jackson/Lisa fic sadly. Please review! If its bad tell me. I don't want to keep writing like this if its absolute crap. It took me all summer just to write (and procrastinate) this tiny part. Sad isnt it?
Prologue: Repetition
She was prepared. Ready for anything, anyone in this case. That certain blue eyed man that caused so much trouble a month ago. She wasn't going to let this happen again. The thought of those chilling azure eyes sent shivers down her spine.
"I'm not afraid," She muttered, slowly reaching for the cool steel of the KA-BAR under her pillow. It was like security. In her mind it was safer than any bodyguard. She knows that shes prepared if he ever came back to get even. Various weapons were around her small apartment. A baseball bat under her bed, gun in the bathroom, and plenty of pens around.
I'm not afraid.
Lisa was young and had her whole life ahead of her. Every night, this paranoia would get the best of her. Lux Atlantic gave her and Cynthia two months of vacation to use immediately after the red eye incident. The media was on fire and hounding the hotel 24/7. They refused to release Cynthia's and Lisa's names to protect their privacy. The only thing that was on the news was a picture of Jackson Rippner's face. Every night he made the 10 PM news, his face was plastered everywhere yet he was nowhere to be found.
Eventually, news reporters lost interest and instead turned their attention to the more exciting news of whales in rivers. Lisa knew that Jackson wasn't in a prison where he belonged. No, she was very sure that he was still out there. Out there planning her demise.
"I always win, Leese. Repetition wont get you anywhere."
The rays of the sun reached her bed the next morning. Chirpings birds without a care in the world and loud voices were coming from outside her window. She peered out her window and a silver BMW parked into a driveway. Her mind was racing with thoughts and ran downstairs with a knife in her hand. Slowly, she ascended downstairs. She heard footsteps coming closer to her doorstep. Louder and louder until they finally stopped. The doorbell rang.
She took a couple steps forward. The doorbell rang once more. A few feet away from the door, she saw the doorknob turn and the door gave entrance with a squeak. Holding her breath she clutched the knife with sweaty hands and stared at the opening door until it showed fully who her intruder was.
Her brown eyes met his blue ones. She exhaled slowly as he walked in and watched the door slam shut.
