I noticed all of them as I walked down the hallway. I saw them all stare, but I was used to it by now. I could hear everything they were thinking, and when I was near, it was about me. There was only one that I couldn't use my special hearing on. His name was Edward Cullen. He was just a human; to anyone else, just an ordinary human. But the minute I laid my amber eyes on him, I knew he wasn't just an ordinary human. I knew he was "the one" for me.
Seeing as I am a vampire, I usually just keep to myself and the rest of my family- Alice, Jasper, Rosalie, and Emmett. Well technically we weren't family by blood, but we lived together with our adoptive parents Esme and Carlisle. They are all paired up- that is except for me. Alice and Jasper, Rosalie and Emmett, Esme and Carlisle, Bella and- no one. I had to have Edward, even if it is the last thing I do. I just have to have him.
