This one-shot is dedicated to all the Fanfiction Writers, they are all the best!!! I am yet to find single bad fic posted here.
I look helplessly at my brothers limp form, lying just few feet away from me. But I can't move my aching body enough to get to him. The mangled up bone in my leg is hindering my plans to get to him.
The moment I look at the blood pooling around his body, the adrenaline starts pumping, and I drag myself slowly forward.
My hands fist up the mud on the forest floor as my strength starts to waver. I cannot quit now, I keep tell myself that.
Please be okay - don't die on me – don't leave me.
My heart is filled with this mantra, as I keep dragging myself towards him, ignoring the shooting pain in my leg; they don't call us Winchester's 'more-stubborn-then-a-mule' for nothing.
I touch my bothers shoulder gingerly, tracking my hand to his neck to find his pulse. It's weak, but there. I sigh with relief.
I try to push myself into a sitting position, gently lifting my brother's head onto my lap. He groans, opens his eyes to mere slits.
"You know you're an idiot, right? You don't have to put yourself between me and every danger out there", I tell him affectionately while putting pressure on the deep slash wounds on his chest.
"You couldn't move out the way, Sammy, 'cuz of your leg", he croaks, his voice rusty from loss of blood.
"One day you may end up getting yourself killed for me bro." I inform him.
"Anything for you, lil bro, anything for you", he says, while closing his eyes and going lax again.
I stare at him in disbelief, before taking the phone out of my pocket to call for help.
A/N: I got inspired by the scene in Season 1, Something Wicked, when Michael asked Dean "you do anything for your lil brother?", before agreeing to help the boys.
I am thinking to put more of the one-shots here, bearing the same theme.
I would love it, if anybody can add more to my muse or write a full-story based on this theme. :)
