Rated T, cuz I want to be safe.
This poem here is about Mephiles's perspective of the story of Sonic '06.
Clay
This was it!
My life's dream could finally be accomplished!
My plan laid out,
My mind set,
I could finally be one with my brother.
That silver hedgehog, that purple cat,
Were both so gullible.
They bought my story about the Iblis Trigger,
And did exactly what I wanted them to do.
I was molding them like clay.
I figured I needed an accomplice,|
To deal with the dangerous stuff.
Not that I'm scared,
It's just that I'm nervous as heck.
So I set out for a new model to sculpt.
The ebony hedgehog with red stripes,
Seemed like the perfect match.
The Ultimate Life Form is a guy you want on your side.
Anyway, he'll go along
Once I tell him what is to come.
I started kneading the hedgehog's brain,
By telling him about the cruelty of humanity.
But my clay model of him,
Is stuck in its position,
Stubbornly refusing to change.
I blasted the failed project.
That darn hedgehog, that traitor cat,
Had now turned against me,
All thanks to that grumpy creature,
I wanted to recruit.
My clay sculptures are changing in twisted ways.
Can't they see that I just want my brother?
It's okay, I'll find more inspiration,
I'm sure even the greatest artists fail sometimes.
Then I realized,
My greatest masterpiece,
Would be a one-hit wonder!
All those clay models would cry!
They'd be at my mercy!
I could sculpt them in any way I'd like!
But best of all,
I could do it within a few seconds!
I snuck up on my target,
The Fastest Thing Alive and the Cruddiest Character Alive!
They were exactly where I wanted them to be.
Together...
I powered up my tool of choice,
And shot a single line of light at the fast one.
He fell to ground, dead.
The cruddy character cried,
And my brother arose from her tears!
My clay masterpiece was fixed and finished!
I became one with my brother,
Turning me into something terrible to behold!
But blast those emeralds,
And the concept of kissing!
That fast one was alive,
And stronger than before!
So were his friends!
My clay masterpiece was rapidly melting away.
The fight was rough...
The blows didn't hurt,
Yet I could feel their strength.
My clay sculptures had returned to being a clay ball,
Refusing to be remolded.
My final thought...
At least I got to be with my brother...
