I wrote this as a way of dealing with Cory's death. I feel really tacky posting this but I don't know, I felt the need too. Cory was a good man, and he will be missed. Uh, this was based off of Mark Salling's twitter post, before he deleted it, so yeah I just wrote this...

He finds out through twitter, and how fucking unfair is that!
He doesn't believe it at first, bullshit he thinks when he sees the reactions
People fake this shit all the time, he's fine.

But he wasn't, he was dead.
He starts to question when he sees the more serious news reports,
'Cory man! Some crazy shit they've made up about you being dead, text me bro'
He was so naïve, so willing to pretend.

He nervously fidgets when it's been 15 minutes without a reply,
He always got a response, even if it was a 'busy, talk later' or 'k'
'Dude, come on, even the proper pap sites have gotten onto this'
Still no reply, and it makes him shiver.

He sees the stupid tweets from gullible fans of course, but then
Then he starts to see the tweets from his friends and singers alike
No, this isn't real. Someone just decided to stir shit up.
'Cory, text me back!'

His Wikipedia page changes: instead of is it changed to was
'Cory, you ass! TEXT ME NOW! Please man, you have to be okay'
His phone rings suddenly, unexpectedly…
'Mark, it's true.'
He hangs up without a word.

'Cory, stop fucking around, answer me, right now!'

'Oh god, I will kick your ass man, you've worried everyone.'

'Please'

'Please, Cory, no!'

He's shaking, this isn't real!
It was. It was all so surreal.
He's now one of them,
those who are paying their respects
through a god damn stupid website
