Daisuke grumbled and groaned the whole way there. He was horny, it was too hot, his feet hurt, he was thirsty, he needed the toilet, he was still horny, he was bored, he needed to sit down, he was hungry. The list went on, and Takeru firmly believed that he deserved some kind of award, or knighthood, or something, for not once rising to the bait. It was sometimes beneficial to be such a patient and tolerant person. Was it so bad to want to visit famous buildings and landmarks while in a foreign country?

Daisuke seemed to think so, and even though he stopped moaning when they arrived, he continued to wear a face sour enough to convince people he'd been sucking on a lemon. He refused to make secret the fact that he didn't want to be there at all, but it was only making him frustrated since Takeru had long since opted to ignore him. So instead he lagged behind, sulking and glaring at the many treasures around him.

Takeru had read about this cathedral in the tourist guide, and it had intrigued him. Religion was something that really interested him, and when he could he liked to learn more about it. Obviously, the more mainstream and therefore more complex religions were more interesting to learn about, but lesser known religions intrigued him simply because they weren't as popular.

He stopped to gaze up at a large, simple cross, with a smaller crucifix hanging above it in gold. He waited for Daisuke to catch up before commenting on how strong a man Jesus must have been, to lead and teach an entire people and end up as a martyr. Daisuke was still sulking and pouted in reply, muttering that he didn't believe in any of that stuff and that Jesus wasn't all that great.

Takeru chuckled and took his hand, knowing that no matter how hard he tried he wouldn't be able to get a better answer out of his boyfriend. He did however mention, with a hint of a smile on his face, that Daisuke almost seemed jealous.

Daisuke scoffed. 'Sexually frustrated' was a better way of putting it.
