"STANLEY SANCHEZ GET DOWNSTAIRS THIS MINUTE!" Mrs. Sanchez yelled.

A teenage boy with shoulder length sandy blonde hair rushed downstairs. "What can I do for you mom?" he asked.

"Let me think about it... you can... CUT YOUR HAIR!" she yelled in his face.

"Is that an order or request?" Stan asked.

Mrs. Sanchez glared at him.

"I'll take it as an order." Stan said.

His mom glared at him again.

"But why do I have to?" he whined.

"Look Stan, just because your friend Kether has long hair doesn't mean you can do it!"

"Why not?"

"If he was allowed to jump off a bridge would you want to be allowed to do that?"

"Yes!"

"Sometimes I don't get you Stan."

"The feeling is mutual mom."

"Stan, cut your hair!"

"Fine! I'm going, I'm going!" Stan mumbled, walking out the door.

Pashmina Roxanne Mafura sighed. Her job at the hair salon was so boring. All the people were boring. She sighed again. All of a sudden the door swung open & a depressed looking teenager stepped in. He walked up to her. "Can you cut my hair... um... Pashmina?" he asked reading her nametag.

"Sure." she said, "Is something, um, troubling you?"

"Yes." Stan said.

"What?" Pashmina asked, "Oh my god, I'm sorry I'm so nosy. I just... sorry." her eyes got teary.

"No." Stan said, "It's me, um, I have to get my hair cut off."

"Why?" Pashmina asked.

"Because my mom wants me to." Stan muttered, "My sister's boyfriend/my bestfriend has long hair so I decided to try it & well... let's say mom isn't too happy."

Pashmina laughed. "So, do you want me to cut it off today?"

"No." Stan said, "Just trim it & then I'll pick out a hairstyle tonight & you can cut it tomorrow."

"Ok." Pashmina said, happy that she'd get to see Stan again, "So, you have a sister?"

"A twin sister."

"I have a little sister named Penelope."

"My sister is named Sandy."

"Penelope has a boyfriend named Cappy who has an uncanny obsession with hats."

"Sandy's boyfriend in some kind of delinquent I think. His name is Kether."

The two teens chatted idily when suddenly Pashmina said, "Hey, what's your name?"

"Stan."

"PASHMINA ROXANNE MAFURA! GET BACK TO WORK THIS MINUTE!"

"Ooops. B-U-S-T-E-D!" she said, "I'll see you tomorrow... Stan?"

"Yeah, Pashmina?"

"Ok, see ya." Stan said handing her a tip.

When Pashmina got home she started to put her money in her wallet since she was going to the mall this Saturday but noticed Stan had also given her a piece of paper with a phone number on it.

"Hey Penelope, are you going to call Cappy?"

"Yeah, why do you ask?"

"Race me to the phone?"

"Sure!"
