"Hugo!" Rose screamed. Hugo put down his 'project' and went into Rose's room.

"Yes, Rosie?" Hugo asked in a sweet, innocent voice. He also had a huge smile on his face, with the air of knowing something oh too well.

"Don't give me the "Rosie" thing. Only dad can call me Rosie. You've taken my Prefect's badge. I know you have. You're jealous, aren't you?" Rose snapped.

"Don't be so silly, Rosie. Why would I take your Prefect's badge?" With this, Hugo left the room abruptly, leaving Rose to dismantle her room looking for her badge. Hugo joined his parents downstairs, who were sat at the kitchen table. His mother pushed a glass of orange juice towards him, and the three of them drank in as much silence as Rose and her yelling and banging would allow. 10 minutes later, Rose stormed downstairs.

"I know you have it, Hugo. Where is it?" Rose's hair seemed to cackle with electricity, and her face was bright red. She was more angry than Hugo had ever seen.

"Calm down, Rosie," Her mother, Hermione, spoke. She seemed genuinely concerned about her daughter, and got up to rub Rose's back. "What's wrong? What's missing?"

As Hermione was soothing Rose, speaking little words of ecouragement, Ron noticed Hugo's giggling. Hugo noticed Ron looking at him, and ceased his giggling, and his ears went very red.

"You've charmed her Prefect's badge, haven't you?" Hugo just nodded. The whole kitchen went silent. "What have you done to it, and why?"

"I only charmed it so say "Miss Priss"! Uncle George told me about the time when he and Uncle Fred charmed Uncle Percy's Prefect's badge..."

Ron's face cracked into a huge smile.

"That's my boy!" Ron exclaimed proudly, as he pulled his son into a rib-cracking hug.
