The colour showing from my chest alerted me to my destined one, the person who would be called my other half, soul mates is what society calls them. It was time; I wanted to find the person now and fast.
I could tell that the person was close based on how bright the light was getting, my feet sped up in excitement showing my eagerness to meet the person. I was walking down the streets of Arcadia Bay in Oregon; it was here where I grew up until I was the ripe age of thirteen.
To say that I was surprised to end up standing outside the two whales dinner would be an understatement, this dinner was owned by my old friend's parents.
I thought they closed it down after my friend's father died.
I took a deep breath, and then opened the door. The sound of the bell ringing above my head to alert the staff that a new customer had came in. all eyes were on me as they focused on my body.
I was glowing.
I could see another glow further down the dinner. My soul mate was at the last booth.
Do I really want to know who it is?
Of course I do, we humans live for this.
Everyone excluding the person sat on the last booth could see that I was scared of what was about to happen, I was scared but also kind of exited to meet them.
Right, left, right, left. Don't mess this up. It's our only chance I mentally scolded myself for being so worried and scared about the situation.
The soft clicking noise coming from my boots was the only sound in the dinner as I walked towards the last booth.
It was a girl?
Is that….
CHLOE?
Chloe turned around on her seat excruciatingly slow and slowly looked up.
"MAX?!" two voice were heard one being a surprised Chloe and the other being her mother.
