A teen with chocolate brown hair tried to open his eyes but was only greeted by the sight of pitch blackness. The stench of something rotten suffocated his nose, making him gag.
Where is he?
He could see nothing. Not a single speck of light; nothing but the cold and unforgiving darkness. He tried to get up, flexing his muscles and shifting his weight but failed as he felt an intense pain coursing through out his body. He let out a short cry, biting back the tears.
He was about to give up when he heard an all too familiar voice screaming.
Where have I heard this voice before?
It echoed through the nothingness, shouting a name he couldn't recognize.
It kept echoing. Forcing its way inside his mind.
It kept echoing. Shouting something… something important but what was it?
It kept echoing. Until he couldn't tolerate the pain anymore.

Beads of cold sweat trailed down his skin, soaking his shirt through. He waited for a few minutes, calming himself down. Then a sudden chill brushed passed him and made him snapped out from his reverie. He turned his head and found a small crack on the blackened brick walls. It's so cold.

Where am I?
He pushed himself from the hard floor and the clatter of chains reached his ears. His eyes widened.
What was that?
Casting a downward glance, he noticed his hands and feet were cuffed in chains. The cold metal feeling somewhat familiar to him. What the—
And that was when he heard the clanking sounds heading to his direction. A sense of panic began to rise in his chest. It came closer. Closer. Until he looked up, finding a blonde with a scar shaped like an 'x' on his face and was smiling at him.
"So you're finally awake?"

"That was the day my journey began. I will never forget that day."
