Hi! I thought I try my hand at a one shot with Daniel and Vala. It's just meant to be a bit of fun nothing serious about it at all! Enjoy!

Daniel was working on some translations that they had recently acquired off world. Vala, typically was sitting on one side of his desk and annoying the hell out of him. He glared up at her, she was reading a magazine that Sam had gotten for her. She looked at him 'What?' she asked. 'Would you stop?' He asked her wearily. 'Stop what?' she asked looking curiously. 'That!' he gestured at her mouth were the plastic stick of a pop was sticking out. 'Oh you mean this?' she asked pulling the pop out with a slight smack.
'What about it?' Vala asked cocking her head so most of her raven hair fell across Daniel. 'You're making a racket with it.' 'How?' She asked. Daniel groaned taking off his glasses and rubbing his nose. 'You keep hitting it off your teeth and making the most annoying sounds when you suck it and well it's really frustrating.' 'Oh!' Vala looked at Daniel curiously 'I didn't notice that when Mitchell had one.' 'That's because we were watching a movie Vala; the sound from the TV masks it. Its really quiet in here so naturally you notice small noises like that.' Vala looked at him again and then a slightly disappointed look came over her face. 'And here's me thinking it was because I was the one making those noises.' She got up, picked up her magazine and walked out.
She stopped at the door walked back and left something on the desk. 'Just in case you want it later.' She winked and walked out. Daniel sighed 'She's worse than Jack ever was.' He thought starting his translations again. He turned to look for the next page of the translation when he saw what Vala had left for him. He couldn't help but laugh she had left another pop for him. Next to it a small note read:
Daniel,
Try the pop, it's coffee flavoured so maybe it's better then the MILLIONS of cups of coffee you drink. I'm not sure I'll ask Doctor Lam or Colonel Carter maybe they know… anyways… Enjoy!!!

P.S: Also we weren't watching a movie we were just sitting in your office whilst YOU were looking for something and since it was what five in the morning? Who can even talk at that hour? 'cept for you of course…
Daniel stared at the note… She had a good point except for the coffee. Coffee was always good! He looked at the pop and decided to leave it. He went back to work laughing at her actions slightly he couldn't help thinking 'Jack only ever brought food for himself, it makes a nice change.'

Vala was walking by Daniels office later. It was a quick route to the commissary, she told herself at least. She glanced in at Daniel who was working hard on the translation. She beamed broadly at what she saw. There was Daniel writing notes on the translation in his notebook… with the plastic stick of the pop sticking out from his mouth. 'I knew he'd eat it! Daniel can't resist anything do do with coffee!' She thought happily.
