Author's Note: Hello guys, after my short break of writing, I've decided to come back with a short story that I've worked on since last month but my apologies since it's a bit too short. Oh well, here it is, and I hope you guys will enjoy it, so here it is :).
Who You Are
Lightning faced the somewhat faceless supernatural being with a chain across the middle of his head. She then lowered her gunblade across from her thigh before striking a fatal blow against the strange being. "Say goodbye!" Lightning snapped as she launched herself into the air in a 360 degree angle. The being however successfully dodged her attack and striked Lightning with a strong jab agaisnt her stomach. Lightning groaned in pain and in discomfort as she was hit, then collided to the solid floor in about ten seconds. She looked up from the ground to face the evil being as the being was toying with the chain across his face. "Why won't you just give up and die!" Lightning snapped as she was trying to ease her pain by rubbing her stomach very slowly with her right hand. The being then locked eyes with Lightning before starting to speak in a low but foreboding tone: "I am unstoppable. You my adversary are useless." Lightning grimaced as she frowned, still trying to ease her pain. "Shut the hell up! I'm trying to eliminate you, so you better be crying and bowing down to MY power!" Lightning shouted as she struggled to get up from the ground. The supernatural being smirked evilly as he raised his hand slowly, while Lightning tried to get up from the ground almost weakily though. "What are you doing?" Lightning asked her enemy as she finally got up from the ground. He locked eyes with her before Lightning could do another attack upon him and smoothly said, "You cannot defeat me, you are extremely powerless, and I will conquer over you. Just you wait and see." Lightning looked at her enemy with a deadly look of malice in her eyes before running towards the being and launching another brutal attack, this time, striking him agaisnt his head. The being however dodged her attack and Lightning gasped in surprise as she was slowly in the air after her attack. Lightning then collided back to the ground and was about to prepare another attack when her enemy began to charge another more powerful attack, this time, targeting at her full body, and Lightning stopped, knowing that she may be defeated this time around. "So, you're going to kill me now?" She asked the cruel being. The being drew an evil smirk towards her. "Prepare to get stoned." He said towards her. As he was going to launch his deadly attack, Lightning drew her weapon and began to defend herself. I'm going to stay alive, no matter what the cost, Lightning quietly thought to herself. The being tried to land his blow upon Lightning, but Lightning managed to get out of the way quickly and striked a fierce attack agaisnt the being. The being groaned a bit from Lightning's attack and Lightning landed onto the solid floor. It then locked eyes with Lightning before it began to speak in a cold tone. "You, my adversary, are quite defiant." Lightning stared at the being with a angry glare. "Shut up!" She snapped. "I'm here to finish you, no matter what!" Lightning declared loudly. "Not if I can finish you first." The evil enemy said to her darkly. "We'll see who can be the last of this battle." Lightning said in a brave tone before she drew her weapon and glared at her enemy. The battle is going to be a deadly one, and a brutal one as well, as the two enemies began to stare each other down in a epic manner before the two charged at each other with lightning speed.
