Title: Small Spaces
Drabble: #62
Rave's prompt: Bungalow
Randomly selected pairing: Takori
Disclaimer: I don't own Digimon.
Notes: I got another piercing. Rook, if anyone's interested. It's amazing.
Truth be told, Iori has always been a little afraid of heights. He can't help but think, when he's somewhere high up, that he'll fall and break every bone in his body as long as the fall itself doesn't kill him first. He's wondered quite a few times whether it's to do with he himself being rather vertically challenged. It can't be denied; even now, as a fully grown adult, he still only reaches 5'8". And that's if he stands on his tiptoes.
Thankfully, Takeru was very understanding when he confessed this phobia. He knows he's awfully lucky to have someone like Takeru; he's the first to understand and the last to reject, he helps anybody and expects nothing in return. And Iori knows he loves him, because he insisted that they moved into a bungalow when they eventually did buy a place together. Just so that Iori wouldn't have to worry about falling from any second storey windows.
Both of them have grown to love their little bungalow. Takeru is generally a very tidy person and is awfully good at packing a lot of things into small spaces, so any house bigger than necessary would be pointless. Whereas the arrangement suits Iori because he is rather a minimalist, and why have a house too big to store your belongings when you could have something cosier?
Cosy is how they like it. Neither of them likes to be so crude, but it makes sex less of a chore. The bedroom is always handily close by, so that they don't have to waste time if they feel like having fun in there. But if the lust gets too strong and they can't wait long enough to take themselves there, they don't have to worry about the need to stumble upstairs to sleep afterwards.
And Iori doesn't have to worry about falling down the stairs in any kind of sleepy, sex-induced haze.
