Bop to the Top
AKA the Coordinator Rumble
Sung by May, Drew, Harley, and Solidad
One random day at the Contest Hall, May, Drew, Solidad, and Harley were practicing when all of a sudden, the music for High School Musical's Bop to the Top came on. May and Solidad found themselves in copies of Sharpay's dress from the scene, while Drew and Harley were in Ryan's outfit from the same scene. May simply couldn't resist it; she started singing.
May:
I believe in dreamin'
Shootin' for the stars
Harley inwardly squealed. He loved this song!
Harley:
Hun, to be number one
You've got to raise the bar
Solidad tried to resist, and she managed to hold it out this long, but finally gave in.
Solidad:
Kickin' and a scratchin'
Grindin' out our best
Drew had managed to hold out the longest, but he was now sweating with the effort trying not to sing. All of a sudden, the words burst out of him.
Drew:
Anything it takes
To climb the ladder of success
The other three stared at Drew for a minute, who knew he could sing so well? They continued.
All:
Work our tails off every day
Gotta bump the competition
Blow them all away
May:
Yeah we're gonna
Everyone started dancing, being led by May and Harley, who knew every single move.
All:
Bop, bop, bop
Bop to the top
Drew started doing his own moves, copyrighted by him!
Drew:
Slip and slide and ride that rhythm
All:
Jump and hop hop 'til we drop
Solidad:
And start again
All:
Zip zap zop
Pop like a mop
Harley:
Scoot around the corner
All:
Move it to the groove
'Til the music stops
Do the bop bop, bop to the top
Don't ever stop
Bop to the top
Gimmie, gimmie
Shimmy shimmy
Shake some booty and turn around
Flash a smile in their direction
Solidad bent her arm showing her muscles.
Solidad:
Show some muscle
Harley shook around.
Harley:
Do the hustle
All:
Yeah we're gonna bop, bop, bop
Bop to the top
Drew:
Wipe away your inhibitions
All:
Stump, stump, stump do the rump
May:
And strut your stuff
Two ladders suddenly appeared in the middle of the stage. Solidad and Harley climbed on one, with May and Drew on the other.
All:
Bop, bop, bop
Straight to the top
Going for the glory
We'll keep stepping up
And we just won't stop
'Til we reach the top
Bop to the top
On the last 'bop', May and Solidad simultaneously bopped Drew and Harley on the heads, thus preventing them from excelling more than the girls. The audience that had been hidden during the practice applauded.
Nurse Joy grinned. Selling tickets to hear four renowned coordinators sing was an ingenious plan to save the Pokémon Center. All she had to do was play the music to an irresistible song, and BAM! The Pokémon Center was saved!
Three weeks later, those "four renowned coordinators" became four renowned singers when they got a deal with a record company. A month after, Solidad and Harley decided to randomly get married while May and Drew started dating.
