~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~

"Dude, where's my car?"

Sam Winchester stared at his brother, who was standing by their motel room's window with a look of absolute panic written across his face. "What?"

Sam took another step out of the bathroom and into the room where the older Winchester had been previously seated at the small table, stuffing his face with the pie Sam had made sure to pick up while on a food run. His brother's eyes shifted to him and his expression turned cold. "It's gone, Sam! My car, my baby, is gone!"

"What are you talking about?" Confused, the younger of the two walked towards the window and glanced outside to find the parking spot the Impala had been occupying minutes ago now empty. "But, it was right there..."

"You parked her right there, right?"

"Yeah."

"You remembered to lock it, didn't you?"

"Of course, how could I..."

And then, Sam remembered. No, he hadn't locked the car because his hands had been full and his mind was elsewhere, replaying the latest hunt that he and his brother had been on.

Shit.

"Sam..." The hostility in his brother's voice accompanied by a hand clasping his shoulder made Sam jump a little. "You forgot, didn't you?"

Swallowing a lump in his throat, Sam nodded. The hand on his shoulder tightened its grip before forcing him to face its owner. "Dude, are you serious?"

"I...I, uh, I'm sorry," Sam said before noticing how his useless apology had made the anger in his brother's eyes flare.

"Sorry? You're sorry?"

"Dean, I-"

Sam began slowly backing towards the door as his brother advanced towards him. "You think apologizing is going to make her reappear?"

"No, of course it isn't, that's..."

Out of the corner of his eye, Sam noticed a blue van pulling out of the parking lot and then he saw it; the Impala, in all her glory, parked right where he had forgot he had parked it.

Right, our spot was taken...

"Dean."

"What?"

"I found your car."

"What?" Dean turned to where Sam was looking and let out a loud sigh of relief. "You are so lucky."

"Yeah, shut up and finish your pie."

And then, life we good. Well, as good as it could be for two hunters.

Er, uh, the end.
