A/N: Happy New Years! To kick off the New Years, I've decided to post a oneshot! Like I do for almost every holiday! Well, actually more of a drabble really. I already gave you a oneshot for Christmas! I can't have you all thinking I'm getting back into my writing groove! Heh...
Disclaimer: I own nothing, especially the fireworks. BUT IF I DID, I WOULD---
Fireworks exploded in a flurry overhead the two figures. Aquamarine eyes glanced up as the bright lights flooded the sky. "Look Zexy!" Demyx cried out, as he pointed up at the fireworks. "Zexy" or more commonly known as Zexion was laying against him, his head head on Demyx's shoulders. His eyes were closed as if he were sleeping.
"Later Demyx," he mumbled quietly, shifting into a more comfortable position. Demyx was still too tall, even when they were both seated.
"But Zexy!" Demyx cried out. "The fireworks are so pretty!" Demyx pulled on his boyfriend's Organization Coat sleeve, but that still didn't seem to rouse Zexion. "Please," he said, pouting, although Zexion probably didn't see it with his eyes closed.
"Not now Demyx," Zexion grounded out, his eyebrows furrowing and sweat starting to appear on his forehead. Suddenly, a particularly loud firework flew up and exploded. In it's wake, it left a red heart with a yellow "Z+D" in the center. As the small message came tumbling down to Earth, Demyx smile grew wide, as he bent down to kiss his boyfriend full on the lips.
"Wah!" Zexion screamed out, as he felt Demyx's weight being forced on him. Zexion tumbled off of the bed with Demyx sprawled out on top of him. "Demyx!" Zexion yelled, the illusion having broken and both of them being back in Zexion's room in The Castle That Never Was.
"Sorry Zexy," Demyx said, apologizing with a smile. "But I really liked that last firework!"
Zexion sighed, but there was a hint of a small smile on his lips. "That's the last time I ever let you convince me to do a firework show."
"But it was so cool!" Demyx cried out. "Can you do it again?! Only maybe this time, it can be dolphins! And you can make the dolphins be in like the shape of a heart! And you can do that 'Z+D' thing again!"
Zexion chuckled. "That was the hardest part," he said. He then moved in and gave Demyx a gentle kiss. "But maybe I can do it again. For you."
