Note: Damon's tour manager Marcus wanted something different for Damon to do for one of the act in his new tour it involves Emily and Damon's amazing chemistry
Damon pauses the music which was Feel So Closeby Calvin Harris, and runs his fingers through his messy hair. He groans in frustration, "Babe, why are you being so timid? You should be comfortable performing you are a former gymnast"
"I'm Sorry. I'm trying. It's just we've never done anything like this …" She replies, pulling her sweaty brown locks back in a ponytail."
He finishes with a smirk, "Outside of the bedroom."
She shushes him and gave him a playful push. "Remind me why I agreed to do this again".
"Marcus asked for a Burlesque-Argentine tango number to go with the edgy vibe of the new tour "He whispers in her ear, and kisses her neck, "Besides, I wouldn't wanna do this with anyone else, but you".
"Yeah, Rock star." She says as she starts the music again on Damon's laptop. "We have choreography to finish."
Two Weeks Later
The first stop of Damon's tour was in Manhattan they rented out a theater on Broadway. Damon finishes buttoning the last button on his black silk button down shirt. His jaw drops wide open as he sees Emily walk through her changing room door into the backstage area in her black silk robe open revealing a black lace and red rhinestone bra, matching black lace short shorts and black leather knee high boots Emily grabs a black trench coat and puts it on once she removes her robe.
Emily: "Babe, you're about to drool and it's almost time for our dance part of the show"
He grabs her hand fighting the urge to move further South on her body.
Onstage Damon sits in a black chair on the right of the stage as Emily stands behind a solid white screen on the left side of the stage. The music starts and the shadow cast against the screen shows her stripping off her jacket
The screen drops out of view Damon leans in closer as she moves her hips from side to side against a ballet bar.
Damon smiles slightly and does a slight "come hither" motion with his finger. She struts confidently towards him like a model on a catwalk, and their eyes are locked on each other as the music picks up they start dancing as if it was just them in a room not them dancing for a sold out crowd.
Emily and Damon do a Promenade step as Damon guides her across the stage. She playfully swats his hands away from her. Then he starts unbuttoning his shirt. At the last button she grabs his wrist, but she breaks hold and sassily walks away. He catches up after her lifting her over his head; after he puts her down they do a synchronized walk in tango hold. He spins her, kisses her cheek and they walk offstage together holding hands and the stage goes black with just a spotlight on the chair and the ballet bar.
"You're definitely bringing that costume home" Damon tells Emily once they get off the stage as she giggles.
Note: Promenade also known as the (sweetheart walk) is walking by facing the same direction and stepping forward. This resembles a walk in the park by sweethearts (except they may hold their hands together whereas in tango the embrace is preserved).
