Author Note. I do not agree with Arizona. But I do support her in whatever she does. I like Lauren and I love Arizona. Here's my interpretation of what might happen in 9x24 and how Callie finds out.
Flashes of white blinded Arizona in the dark room. The booms of thunder were unrecognisable in her ears. Her body felt hot as hands roamed over her back and arms. It has been a while since she had felt this good. This wanted.
Her hands automatically went to the long locks of brown hair, only to find them in a ponytail. She pushed the person away, frightened of the missing hair. 'what am I doing?' she thought. 'this isn't Callie. I'm married' she chastised herself in her head.
She turned to walk away, muttering a "I can't do this" as her hand reached the doorknob the voice of the woman rang out. "Arizona, you are allowed to lose a little bit of control"
Without a conscience thought she locked the door instead of opening and took a few steps towards the other doctor. Unable to stop herself she initiated a kiss. Passionate. Scorching. Hot. Adulterous. Adventurous. Things she hadn't felt in a long time.
Arizona took the lab coat off of Lauren, mindlessly looking for the strong arms of her wife. Only to find arms smaller and smoother. Her skin somehow felt softer than Callie's. Arizona followed Lauren's footsteps to the bed and felt the back of her knees hit it.
She sat down as Lauren climbed on top of her. Pushing her down gently on her back. She moved her arms downwards. Following Arizona's physique. Tracing her ribs, down to her sides. Her hips. Arizona stopped her when she reached her upper thigh.
Repositioning her hands so that they were on her chest. Callie's voice still lingered in the back of her head. Trying hard to push the voice away she kissed Lauren harder, more urgently.
Her pager was going crazy with all the beeping and buzzing and she tried her damn hardest to ignore its cries of attentions. It was all with success as well. That was until a loud crash made them both shut up.
The thunder was getting really close right now. There was a flash and not even a second later the windows shook from the thunder. "Kinda makes you wonder if Thor would be coming down now right?" Lauren joked.
Arizona just looked at the window, her mind far away. "You know, the god of thunder" Arizona focused on Lauren this time. Her mind still far away.
"I cant do this" she mumbled and Lauren sighed. "I have a wife" Arizona fell silent.
"I have a daughter" she shook her head. "I cant turn my back on them" Lauren sat down on the bed and nodded her head. As she opened her mouth to say something there was a crash.
Louder than anything they heard before, windows shattered and people were screaming. They raced out of the room towards the sound of the crash.
As they came into the waiting area they saw the glass splintered across the floor, Callie and Bailey ducked on the floor. "Callie!" Arizona yelled and ran to her. "Are you okay? Are you hurt?" Callie looked up to her wife, only to see the dishevelled hair and the make up smudges.
She looked behind her and saw Lauren standing. With the same dishevelled hair and slightly swollen lips. Her eyes travelled back to Arizona and saw what she needed to know.
Her wife had cheated on her.
