Paradise

Paradise

I close my eyes to see paradise

With the sun high in the blue sky

And a glamorous forest in front of me

This is my paradise

All of the people are my friend

They are nice with smiles on their faces

And giving off a nice, peaceful felling

This is my paradise

Then I open my eyes to see a nightmare

With dark walls with cracks

And curtains allowing little light

Where's my paradise

The people are cruel

My mom cares for nothing but drugs and alcohol

And my dad beats me thanks to his alcohol

Where's my paradise

Then I notice I can't have paradise

This is my life in a nightmare

I'll never have my paradise

Why won't you let me have my paradise?

I try to close my eyes but it's not there

All I see is darkness and nothingness

I then get on my knees and pray to God

"God, where's my paradise, can I please have my paradise"

Where's my paradise, can I please have my paradise?
