Wheatley POV
"Alright, now do you understand what I JUST said?!" Chell asks, she's obviously expecting an answer. I shake my head up and down. She looks at me, questioning my gaze, but eventually walks away. I can hear the sound of the front door slamming. I roll my eyes and think, 'She should really trust me more, of course I won't eat the bloody cake! It's pointless to tell me something I already know.' Once my thought process is over, I walk over to the kitchen. I take a single look at the cake, and can feel my mouth watering. It did look pretty good. "NO! I don't want to betray Chell like this, the cake may look good, but I just CAN'T!" I scream dramatically.
"That cake is obviously a lie. But, look at all of that sugary goodness. So...good looking. I don't think she'll notice if I just take a piece." I say sneakily. I walk over to the drawer and take out a kitchen knife. I stare back to the cake and I swear, I can feel my mouth watering. I proceed to walk toward the delicious-looking cake. I slice through the cake with a kitchen knife and cut off a SMALL piece. I then go over to the cuppard and pick out a plate. I placed the piece on the plate and proceeded to dig in. It was good-REALLY GOOD. Beautiful, kind, intelligent, and a good cook?! A PERFECT WOMAN. Well, aside from her weight problem I suppose. I walk over to the cake for seconds...then thirds. Fourths. Fifths. Sixths. Each piece I cut was getting bigger and bigger. I finally finished the last piece of the two-layered cake. I lick my lips and fingers clean. I smile happily...until I look at where the cake was. WAS. There was no cake left! I start to sweat and freak. I try to calm myself down. I mean Chell was reasonable, wasn't she? This was worse than when I betrayed her and tried to kill her! Okay...maybe not worse, but STILL. Everything went dead silent as I heard the front door opening. I thought of the only reasonable choice known to man. HIDE AND BLAME IT ON THE GHOST. IT'S GENIUS. I proceeded to race up the stairs at lightning speed.
'WHERE TO HIDE?! WHERE TO HIDE FOR BLOODY SAKE?!' I think rapidly. I go into the bedroom and notice the bed. PERFECT. I crouch down and slither under the bed. I hit my head of couse. "Ow, if I only wasn't so bloody tall!" I attempt to say quietly. ATTEMPT. It's complete silence until I hear the one thing I was afraid of hearing yelled.
"WHEATLEY!" I hear Chell scream. That was NOT a happy sounding voice. Even the devil himself would be terrified right now. "WHEATLEY! WHERE ARE YOU!?" She continues screaming. She slams open the door and I can see her looking down at me. Oh, if looks could kill, I tell ya. Her facial expression obviously tells me to get out of hiding immediately. I crawl out from uder there warily. I stand up in front of her. Her face now screams for an answer. "I thought I told you NOT to eat the cake?!" She starts exclaiming. I gulp and respond back with the most reasonable answer of all time, "IT WAS THE GHOST!" I scream out of fear. Her anger intensifies.
"Uhh...bye." I say quickly while running past her. 'GOTTA HIDE, GOTTA HIDE!' I think once again. I found the spare bedroom and sneak under the bed again. THE PERFECT HIDING SPOT. She was expecting this however and bursts through the door. I look up at her out of fear, but then calmly. She doesn't look angry? "Come on out Wheatley. I'm sorry I yelled at you. It was just a cake, it's not THAT big of a deal, huh?" She calmly asks. I shake my head up and down and then come out of hiding. I stand in front of her once again. The happy face turns to anger as her hand reaches back and bitchsmacks me. I stand there stunned. She makes a "hmph" sound and walks away. I hear the front door slam. Probably out to get more ingrediants. I now know not to eat her cake anymore. Of course, the cake she brings home DOES look delicious...maybe just a bite.
