August 15th;12:04 pm.
Arthur Kirkland looked at the time on his phone. Today, like every other summer day, the weather was nice. He looked up at the sky before shilding his eyes from the bright sun. A light blue sky layed above him, white fluffy clouds lazily went by.
As he continued toward his destination, nameless pedestrians walked past him. Looking to his left, he had found what he had been looking for, the park. He smiled as he advanced toward the swing-set. Sitting on the non-occupied seat, he looked at the boy sitting next to him.
Kiku Honda, Arthur Kirkland's boyfriend.
"Kirkrand-san, herro." his soft voice greeted. "Now now Kiku, I told you to call me Arthur. No need to be so formal, we are a couple after all." The raven-haired boy just blushed and replied, "Okay Asa-san..."
Arthur didn't notice at first, but on Kiku's lap layed his cat, Tama. Kiku slowly pet him as he watched the children play.
The two sat in a comfortable silence, until a voice broke it. "You know, Asa-san, I acturary dislike summer." Kiku said boldly, still carassing the cat's head. At that moment, Tama jumped out of his reach and began to run away. "Tama!" Kiku chased after him. Arthur got up and followed, walking slowly behind. The black cat crossed the street, followed by a black-haired teen.
What jumped out was the traffic light that changed from green, to a glaring red.
Suddenly, a truck came out of nowhere and struck Kiku as he screamed. His scent, now mingled with sprayed blood, choked Arthur. Tears begand to fall as he rushed over to the still body on the ground. "This can't be happening...Kiku...NO!" he yelled, clutching the bloody head to his chest.
A dark laughter was heard in the air. "This is all real!" he said. Arthur looked up to see another...Arthur? No, this wasn't another him. This couldn't be. This one seemed darker, though itself was transparent. It grinned evily at him, then disappeared into thin air. The shock and confusion was too much for the Brit. His vision blurred, and went black.
With that, like a cricket's sound being disturbed, the light blue of summer darkened away.
Oh my first fanfiction. Cool amirite. Anyway this is based off of the song Kagerou Days. I added some of the lyrics into there, if you can find them.;;
