Aaron had the thought run through his head could it be magic that was making him feel this way about Emily? He has thought of her for the last year as his best friend and his confident but for the last four months or so he could not get her out of his head. As he sat back in his office chair thinking about it his eyes opened wide as he realized what it was he was feeling. He loved her. He not only loved her he was in love with her. He shook his head at his own stupidity for not even knowing how he felt about his raven haired beauty.

He tipped his head back and sighed as he thought about the fact that they had been fightin for all the wrong reason lately. He chuckled as he thought about some of the fights they have gotten into the last couple days. He pinched the bridge of his nose as he thought about if he should tell Emily how he felt or not. Then he realized that he should. There was two sayings that he lived by. One was no pain no gain. The other one what doesn't kill you will make you stronger.

He sat straight up in his chair as he came to a decision. Both of the sayings he liked so much was true. If it turned out that Emily didn't feel the same way about him that he did her it would probably kill him but he would continue living. He knew that he couldn't not tell her how he feels about her because it would just end up killing him inside if he didn't at least take the chance.

He got up from where he was sitting in his chair with his head in his hands and looked out the window into the bullpen. He smiled when he saw that she was still here. More often then not lately she stayed until he was ready to go home himself. He picked up his suit jacket and his briefcase and headed out to her desk.

Emily had her head bent over her desk as she was trying to work on some paperwork but was not having any luck. Her mind kept turning to Aaron and how much she loved him and was in love with him. She wished that she had the nerve to tell him how she felt. She has been trying to get her nerve up for the last seven months but has yet to succeed. Would she ever be able to tell him her feelings?

She looked up when she saw a shadow fall over her desk and she smiled when she saw that it was Hotch. "Are you already done Aaron? Usually you are working much later than this."

Aaron smiled and said "Yes, I am done Emily. But I was actually wondering if we could talk for a few minutes before we left."

Emily frowned for a minute and then smiled and said "You know you can talk to me about anything Aaron."

Aaron took in a deep breath and said "I never told you that I am hopelessly devoted to you. I love you SSA Emily Prentiss. I know that you probably do not feel the same way about me as I do you but I had to tell you how I felt."

A smile broke out on Emily's face as she stood up and walked around her desk and then jumped in Aaron's arms and threw her arms around his neck and said "I love you too Aaron. I have been trying to get up the nerve to tell you how I felt but I couldn't. I am so happy that you told me how you felt."

Aaron grinned before leaning down and kissing Emily softly and tenderly.
