She was always the most efficient. He found that to be her most attractive quality. She was physically attractive to be sure, but that's not what turns on an intellectual person like Mycroft. No, he found intelligence to be his biggest turn on.

He knew her shortcomings and how she tried like hell to overcome them. That was another thing he admired her for - her perseverance. She never complained or regretted the event that took most of her memory and left her with short term memory. She had gotten injured protecting Mycroft. She viewed her disability as a good thing since her line of work left her privy to a lot of secret information. She viewed herself as even more of an asset to Mycroft, which amused him.

She was a girl who couldn't remember her name but could never forget her loyalty to Mycroft. She was both playful and cold. She was the smartest person he knew and she couldn't remember it.

The only question for him was how he didn't fall in love with her sooner.

Well he knew what needed to be done. She was in his bathroom getting ready for the errands he had planned for her. Mycroft put his plan in motion. " Darling, I need you to run one more errand for me."

" Okay, add it to my Blackberry so I don't forget."

He did just that with a devilish grin. Now to start planning everything down to the last detail, he was Mycroft Holmes after all.

Hours later after "Anthea", or Alexandria as she was known that day, had done all her work, except go to the jewelers to pick up a necklace for Mycroft's mother. She didn't mind the last minute errand, she knew she wanted something from this jeweler anyway but, for the life of her, she couldn't remember what.

When she went into the store, it was pitch black. "Oh, I can't be too late! I know it's nighttime, but they know to stay open for Mycroft." She got incredibly flustered. "And this why he never gives me errands that are not job related! I need to fix this, his mum is so scary. Even more so when mad."

All of a sudden the lights go on and she saw Mycroft in the middle of the store wearing a gold tuxedo. Gold is her favorite color, well she thinks it is.

He motioned for her to come forward and she did. " My darling." He kissed the palm of her hand. " It would make me so happy if you became my wife."

Tears streamed down her face. "Yes!"

They kissed and then kissed some more. He then motioned around her. "I wanted you to pick your own ring. Any ring you want, it's yours."

She picked a 14k white gold engagement ring and Mycroft called around to inform family.

She went outside in the cold night to to catch her breath. When Mycroft came out to join her he noticed she was no longer crying tears of joy but sadness. "What's wrong?"

"I'm not going to remember this, am I?"

"I made sure that all of this was videotaped."

His hand touched hers and he gently tried to comfort her.

"I'm going to remember this. In some way I will make myself remember this. It won't be a memory trapped in a film."

He smiled at her determination. "Now that's the woman I fell in love with."

She kissed him under the night stars.

She was ready for the future and was determined to remember it.
