iHeart Mermaids
(A/N: Hey-o! It's HeyBulldogProductions once again! I got the insperation for this little one-shot from my buddy, Bobby, who is also a Wibby/Gendy shipper and an AWESOME person on twitter! FatCakesYeah! My first non-Seddie story)
(Gibby's POV)
Today was Friday, which means the weekend was finally here! But unlike others who spend their friday nights going to the movies with their friends, or have parties to celebrate the weekend, I spend mine differently than others. I have a secret that no one, not Carly, Sam, Freddie, Guppy or my mom even know. But I made the mistake of telling my girlfrieend (well now my ex-girlfriend) Tasha. She flipped out and dumped me. Now I'm alone and sad.
My secret is that I, Gibby Cornelious Gibson, am infact a mermaid. Yes, that's right! A mermaid. Now I know you think I'm crazy. You're probably saying 'Gibby CANNOT be a mermaid' but it's true. You're probably wondering why I have leg and no tail. Well it's simple. During the daytime I'm a human, but when I go into the water, at night time, I transform into an aquatic majesic mermaid. Why do you think I always take my shirt off? I take it off so my human skin can get some sunlight, otherwise it transforms into mermaid skin (plus I''m pretty darn sexy without my shirt on, right ladies? Wink!)
Every Friday night while others are at the movies or partying, I go to the Seattle Bay (A/N: Idk if there's such thing). I lay on the beach for a while, gazing at the stars, the sand and the sparkles of the water that the fish make, until midnight. I take my shirt off and dive in. Swimming deep down until I'm miles away from the coast. When I get to a certain spot, my gills form, then my beautiful royal blue tail and finally, my marmaid superpowers. I can swim faster than lightning, talk to fish via fish telepathy, make a whirlpool and even transform into a fish!
One Friday night I told my mom that I was going to Freddie's house for a sleepover. I gave Guppy my phone and told him to pretend to text my mom, being me, so that she wouldn't worry. I took my usual bus to bay and got off. I was an hour earlier than I usually am. I sat in the sand, it fitting around my body oh so perfectly. I looked at the moon. It was full tonight. The first night in forever. The mermaid lord, Sebastian, told me that on the Friday of 4th week of any even month I would find a female mermaid of whom I would be mates with for eternity. Today was August 24th, it was Friday, there was a full moon. I was going to find my mate tonight.
My watch started beeping, it was midnight. I took my shirt off and was about to jump into the water when I saw a shadow of a girl jumping in. I decided to follow her. When we were miles away from the coast we both transformed. I got a better look at her. She had beautiful red hair. It was so long and majestic. Free flowing along the waves. I looked at her again. She didn't have the mate gem at the end of her tail. She was looking for a mate too!
I signaled her with my mermaid powers. She turned around. She smiled and swam towards me. I got a better look at her.
I recognize her! I thought. She stopped and gasped.
"Gibby!"
"Wendy!"
Sebastian appeared. He zapped both of our tails and gave us both identical mate gems. Wendy and I were mates. We spent hours upon hours swimming in the ocean, talking about our mermaid lives. It was getting close to sunrise. We both swam to shore and transformed back into humans. She was about to walk away but I grabbed her hand and stopped her.
"Wendy, Will you be my girlfriend?" A smile washed upon her face.
"Of course Gibby" She held my hand, intertwining her fingers in mine as we walked to the bus. This was our little secret. And we vowed not to tell anyone, for an eternity.
