When Hermione thinks of the morning after-

(and she does, plenty)

above all

is an overwhelming sense

of relief

so strong she could drown in it.

THAT

is what Hermione Jean Granger felt

when Harry caught the wand,

and it was over (for then)

Hermione of course,

always far too smart

for her OWN liking

(not that anyone else would possibly agree)

Knew that it was

not the end, not really

(Oh, how she hated being right!)

But in that brief, wondrous moment,

she felt she could allow herself

to be a bit naive

and believe the worst

was over.

And so, whenever reporters ask,

(and they do,plenty- almost insufferably)

even eighty long, long years later-

the answer is always the same:

"I felt relieved."
