Chapter 1- Awaking

Peter, Edmond, Susan and Lucy slowly suited at their surroundings. After being told the last time that Peter and Susan wouldn't return, this was quite a surprise. The trees were dancing a welcome and the sun beamed down through the swaying leaves. Lucy grinned at each of them before running through the trees, dancing with them. Her siblings laughed at her childish antics. They followed her in cherishing the moment of freedom. All was at peace.

For the moment.

The only thing that they didn't know was that Narnia hadn't changed much and that the forces they had once faced were coming back but stronger then ever.

Aslan trailed toward the old ruins of the north islands, his heavy paws slowly touch the soil with each step. The soft hum of magic in these ruins still echo's louder then he could have imagined possible. Rubble that once was a mighty stone castle was now scattered across the forest floor. Statue among statue still in contact with the magic that once thrived the skies, earth, and water of Narnia. Aslan had never forgotten the harsh fate that had bought his home to the ruins that he scanned today. The loss of a family member was one thing having to imprison a sibling was almost unbearable to think of. For anyone to have had to hold that amount of magic was unthinkable.

The all powerful lion stepped into a circle of statues, many of which he remembered in person, they were all facing a statue of meditating human girl who looked to be no older then seventeen. The girls eyes were closed with most of her hair pulled back into a bun, leaving the hair that couldn't quite reach hanging down over the face. She had a slight grin placed just under her small rounded nose. Her face was shaped as one of those dolls that was giving to many young ones throughout Narnia. Her body was covered in a long dress which was folded over her crossed legs, her belt held many a weapon. A sword, throwing daggers and a bow and arrow which was placed over her cloak.

Aslan smiled warmly at the girl who was no younger then he. Aslan never wanted the fate of the girl in front of him to have happened, it was not far on anyone let alone one as precious as her. She held the key to the Narnians survival and now was the time in which he needed her help more so then ever before. They all did. The only time in which she had awakened before was when the last of the Narnians were nearly wiped out. Her story is one spoke among all Narnians from a young age.

The time had come.

Aslan slowly walked up to the girl he knew all too well. He stood in front of her stronger then he ever had before. He bowed his head slightly before taking a calming breath. Aslan breathed onto the girls face, ruffling her stoned hair. The grin on her face widened as she took a breathe of her own for the first time in thousands of years. She slowly began to move her neck as if she had awoken from a deep sleep. One after another she moved her limbs and joints to remove the dust of stone from her bones. Then finally she opened her deep Mediterranean blue eyes to gaze upon a smiling Aslan. She smiled so much so her teeth showed.

"Hello brother."

I no it's slightly short but once I get an idea of how many people like this story I will write more! Let me know what you think please! :D x
