I love Tohru more than anything in the world. She stood by me through everything unselfishly. She can be a little silly at times but I love her for that. Shes loving and caring towards everyone even if their horrible to her.

This is why I'm going to propose to her tonight. We've been together now for a little over a year now. It's no secret that I love her and that she loves me, but I wanted everything to be perfect.

I told her we would be going out, but didn't tell her where. Ayame had a dress made for her for the occasion. Thankfully it wasn't anything to revealing like a lot of his stuff. Not that I didn't like Tohru that way…I just didn't want other guys to like her that way…

I waited for her to get ready, and when she descended down the stairs my heart stopped. She looked amazingly beautiful. The dress strapless and a midnight blue. She had her hair down, but pinned to the side, and she had matching high heels. It was cute, but also very sexy. I'm hoping I don't have to fight any guys away tonight.

"Do you like it?" she asked nervously.

I realized I had been staring and that it had probably made her uncomfortable. I broke out of my daze and said

"You look beautiful."

I led her out of the house and began the short walk to our destination. I took her to a nice park not far from the house. We had been there before, but I had something special prepared.

Once we arrived she let go of my hand and gasped. I smiled at the sight.

"Oh, Kyo this is amazing!"

I had a nice picnic set up for us, and Yuki and Ayame had helped me decorate the place. We sat and talked for a while, and I fiddled with the ring box in my pocket. Once we were done eating and she stood up, I knew I had to do it.

"Tohru" I said getting down one one knee.

"Will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?" I asked pulling out the ring box and popping it open.

She stood stunned and then broke into tears. It alarmed me for a moment but then she launched herself in my arms and said

"Yes!" and then proceeded to kiss me.

I was so happy I almost cried, but I held back. I am a man afterall.

I walked her back home, a huge grin on my face, the ring shining on her finger. I couldn't be happier than in this moment with the woman I love, the woman I intend to marry.
