Author's Notes: A Short piece sometime during the eight season.
Excitement Generally
She snaps all around him. God Help Castle. She couldn't take it anymore from the sexual tension between the both of them.
She lunges at him touching his lips to feel every nerve ending from with-in.
She gives him a sheepish look. She shrugs and a smile to him wishing for more. Once they entered the loft in needing with finding Loksat. And for where he just about destroyed them forever. Until she was able to open her eyes.
He opened the door making sure it was locked. No more interruptions to stop them from enjoying life together.
And when he entered the room finally. She was silent as with the room being fully dark. She needed to leave the lights off for the moment.
Rick stopped and crept back over to the bed waiting for her approval to move in closer.
Kate sat on the bed in stunned silence. While watching her husband walk over. As if he'd seen a ghost.
"What's wrong?" He says with a deep sigh of breath.
"I need to stop this before someone is killed." Kate stood from the side of the bed to join her husband stepping into his embrace. "Rick." She gasped quietly. "I was afraid you were going to leave me." She says with toughing his face ever so gentle. How she hated this aspect of their marriage.
"Never!" He kisses her with all of the muster he can give her. For the mystery writer. He was mostly in awe with the scene in front of him.
She stammered further before she decided to take off her clothing. In order to reveal her baby bump to him. She has never done this before. All because she was afraid to lose out on the best thing that has ever happened to her.
"This is why we need to drop the investigation because of the baby. I need to keep the truth away from the streets. And we need to protect him/her from those wishing to destroy us." Trying not to be rebelling at the same time.
She demurs from her choice as with his.
Their eyes met once again. As if the entire world around them doesn't exist around them.
Rick lightly touches her stomach. "This baby is ours. Kate. I love you. And I will continue to do so." Revealing his inner emotions.
He watches her, as he chokes on the words. While he nods and than glances up.
"I am sorry. Rick." She says firmly including huffing.
"For what?" With the silence that followed. He moves in closer to pick her up into his arms in order to celebrate.
"For not telling you sooner about the investigation." Afterwards she would let go of her emotions in his arms. And before being placed onto the bed. While continuing to sob in his arms. In order to make peace with-in herself and his.
