A/N: So, remember in the first season when Sue tried to take over Glee Club as co-director? Remember the part where she was splitting them up into groups and what she called Kurt? I always wondered what he was thinking. Just an amusing little oneshot that's hanging out in my mind and doesn't feel like leaving. First Glee fic so I'd appreciate Constructive Criticism and I hope I get all the characters down right.
Gay Kid
"Santana!" Sue barked.
Santana beamed in that girly, cheerleader way that girls tended to smile, and Kurt resisted the urge to roll his eyes.
"Wheels!" Sue snapped yet again.
Oh yeah, real original, Kurt thought as Artie looked somewhat surprised. He once again resisted the urge to roll his eyes; now wasn't the time.
"Gay kid!" Sue bellowed again.
Wait, is she talking about…me? Kurt's eyes widened.
"Well, come on! Get up here, all of you!" Kurt vaguely registered the words before hurrying up to the front.
Mercedes gave him a sympathetic look. "Sorry she called you out like that," she hissed in Kurt's ear when Sue called her up to the front.
"It's ok, it actually kind of suits me," Kurt replied with a pleased smile.
Mercedes gave him a strange look and then shook her head. "Kurt, you are something else."
"I know," Kurt replied, still smiling.
