Nessi, Jane, Alec, and Alice walk home from school when from the trees they can smell something. "Paul what r u doing?" Nessi asked.
"Nothing!" he replied quickly.
As he looked up he saw all four of them just watching him he runs of holding in his emotions. Everyone knew his imprinte went back to school but they could tell it was something more serious.
When they got back to the house Dream was already there as always her boyfriend Seth was there with her as they watched TV. "Doorknob" Alec whispered.
But Dream and Seth heard. "Watch what you say Alec!" Seth said sarcastically knowing it was true.
"What ever." Alec walked away glaring at Seth.
The door slammed and the room was silent but then nessi broke it "Jane. Your brother's hot."
"I heard that." Alec said as the door flew back open.
He walked down the steps like all the vampires gracefully as he looked at nessi with the same smile as Edward he went back and stood next to his sister.
"Jane I'm gone hunting want to come" he whispered.
"No. I'm worried about Paul"
"Why."
"You really want to now why because he's not being his normal irritating self."
"Don't worry he'll be fine. Why don't you go to Mason's house?"
"Why don't you get a girlfriend?"
"Why don't you find a better way to hide that hyke?"

Jane runs out the house embarrassed. But still as she said she looked for Paul. She noticed Masons and Paul's scents were mixed. She figured they were in the secret hideout.
"Hey Paul what's wrong?" Jane asked
"I was just asking your boyfriend. How he told you he liked you."
"Why"
"Just know I have someone in mind to tell."
"Hey guys I fell weird not being in the conversation." Mason said popping in.
"Well you two can leave now."
"Want to come to my house Jane."
"Sure."
