Ryzaku-let's just face it I got bored a wrote this at like 2am while watching anime, now why it's taken me so long to get offa my but and actually poste it I have no idea… but this is all there is it's just a creepy short story.

~a year prior~

"M-momma? Papa? Are you there?" the house is so quiet this morning…. It sounds so eerie. I'm frightened!

~as out story takes place~

"I'll be back soon, I promise" I said as I walked out of the house that day. I thought I would be going out just for a short while but things unfolded differently. As I walked into town I felt my old house calling to me. I hadn't been there in over a year, not sense my mother and fathers disappearances. I climbed the hill that led to the abandoned house. The door creaked open and one signal foot step inside set off a puff of dust and bad memories of that night. "One night couldn't heart..." my voice echoed into the house.

Throughout the day nothing strange happened until the night came along. As I began to the second floor where I recalled my room being, I found a small silver key with my name engraved into it, a note taped to it.

Dear Lacy,

The key to the door that beckons, treat it well and beware the glass eyes.

~Drocell

Read the note.

"D-drocell?"I stutter then laugh "no...Not possible, my old doll? my puppet?" I laugh again insecure. When I open the door to my room, I gasp. Lying there is a dress, the dress my mother picked out for me. The year certainly hasn't been kind to it, the peachy color is faded to a light pink-gray. I shake my head, close the door and sleep in the hall for the night.

The morning brings a package at my door; curiously I bring it inside and open it. A wooden box sets inside, faded the curved lettering reads 'Lauliet '"my mother's?" I open the box with a nether note…

Lacy,

The dress, a key, and memories can lead to a place beyond return.

~Drocell

Surly it's a joke, I laugh but a feeling swarms over me when it hits me. The room is suddenly filled with the scent of sweats, the same that Drocell had stored in the pockets of his blue jacket. caramel I think and I start shaking rapidly and dash to my room, in a dreamlike state I put on the dress and take care to put my dark black hair into a long brad down my back, glancing in the mirror I see that I look like a green eyed doll. I take the tarnished key into my hand and start to the hall. An eerie noise is coming from the third floor now. I find my self coming across a set of gates with a lock shaped like a hart, no key hole in sight. I reach out and touch the lock I feel words coming to my lips "puppet master" the lock broke in two and fell to the ground shimmering. I slide the silver key into the lock on the door behind the gates and enter the dusty attic. I gasp and back away only to hit the door that is closed and locked.

Sitting in the attic is my parents, now dolls and Drocell leans over them. "Oh how lovely Lauliet, it seems you daughter has returned" Drocell spoke and turned around. "Come now see something" he leads me to a box and allows me to look inside. On the inside is me. Drocell smirks and hands me a note

Looks as if the puppet master has become a puppet her self

Doesn't it, lacy….
