Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter or any of its characters, just a Batman mug full of coffee.

She was not looking forward to this conversation. He was going to overreact, or yell or even walk out. But she couldn't see how she could possibly keep this from him, not for long, anyway. It was best to just get this over and done with now.

"Theodore?"

"Mmhmm?"

"I'm pregnant."

"You're what?!" The second half of his sentence was drowned out by a loud crashing sound as he stood up suddenly and almost knocked his desk over, effectively letting everything on it slide to the floor loudly and spilling coffee everywhere.

Hannah Abbott rolled her eyes- he would never learn. "Pregnant, dear, pregnant. You know, I'm going to have a baby."

The look on his face was both priceless and hysterical. "I, but when- how?" He stuttered out.

"Do I really need to explain the concept to you?" She giggled, walking over to him and pushing him back down into his seat. "There. You better sit down before you hurt somebody. Including yourself." Satisfied that he was seated safely, she sat herself neatly on his now-empty desk.

Theodore stared at her, mouth open, as if he was trying to form a sentence but couldn't. Again, Hannah rolled her eyes (she did that a lot now that she was living with him). The poor idiot seemed to have frozen with... fear?

"Theodore, honey, speak to me," she said, waving her hand in front of his face.

For a few seconds he was silent, then- "You're having a baby," he croaked out.

"We'rehaving a baby," Hannah corrected.

"We're having a baby..." he repeated, a completely spaced out look on his face.

"Is that going to be a problem?"

That got him. Immediately he snapped out of it and stood up again, banging his knees on the table as he did so and sinking back into his chair. "N-not at all!"

She tilted her head sideways slightly, gazing at him with her eyebrow raised. "You sure? Because if you can't even stand up without hurting yourself, I don't know howyou think you're going to look after a baby..."

"Oh, very funny," he said, starting to sound a bit more like his usual self. He still sounded a little nervous though. "But I won't be raising the child on my own. You'll be there to help me."

She smiled, and leaned forwards to lightly kiss the tip of his nose. "Of course I will."

The corners of his mouth turned up a little, and he said, "Just what I wanted to hear. Now, come here." He held his arms out and Hannah carefully moved from her position on his desk to his lap. And there they sat, her head under his chin and his arms wrapped around her- a position they found that they both liked- each of them deep in thought.

"Hannah?"

"Mmhmm?"

"Can I say one thing?"

"What's that?" She asked, moving her head so that she could look up at him.

"We are nevergoing to let Blaise look after our baby."

She laughed quietly and laid her head back down on his chest, utterly content. "Of course not, dear."

Alright, so he had overreacted a little. He wouldn't be Theodore if he hadn't. But it didn't matter, really. He was okay with it, she was happy, and their baby would be wonderful.

Hopefully it wouldn't inherit Theodore's clumsiness.
