Summary: It's summer, and Renesmee is finally over Jake. Well, she and Nahuel have been friends; he asked her over for dinner but there is a surprise waiting for her.
Summer Solstice
Oh don't you dare look back, just keep your eyes on me; you're holding it back. Those are the lyrics that I remembered as I was driving over to Nahuel's house for dinner. He asked me if I had something nice to wear. I asked him why. He told me it's surprise! I found a red strapless dress with black pumps, since I knew red is his favorite color.
Nahuel and I have been friends since he moved here. Jake isn't in my fucking life anymore after he cheated on me with Leah. I found him on top of her one night when I came home from shopping. I was very clear about everything, like how I feel about him cheating on me or even talking to that bimbo. He knew that I don't like cheating or lairs. I really can't stand her, so I am done looking back.
Leah tried to steal everything from me - she never did like me. That goes for her too. She thinks her shit doesn't stink. Anyway I am falling for Nahuel. I hope tonight he asks me to be his girlfriend. That made me smile. It is also my favorite time of year, summer, and it is summer solstice.
When I finally arrived at his place, he was standing there waiting for me. He had on a summer kind of suit. I cut the engine and he opened the door and held his hand out for me. As I got out he pulled me into a hug. He kissed me, which blew me away. When he let me go he was eyeing me up from head to toe.I think I made him get a hard on. I really never did that before.
"Ness, you look amazing, plus you are wearing my favorite color," he led me to the lake where there was a candlelight dinner waiting for us.
"You also look handsome," I smiled.
He pulled out a chair for me then he got down on one knee and took out a little box- he opened it. In the box was a heart shaped ring.
"Renesmee, we have been hanging out pretty much - so I thought it was time for me to ask you, would you like to be my girlfriend?" he muttered out.
"What? Of course I would love to be," I placed the ring on my finger. It was a promise ring.
He picked me up and kissed me. I never thought he would ask me- but I am very happy he did and now I can forget about that asshole Jake. He placed me back down and turn on the radio - you wouldn't guess what was playing. Shut Up and Dance. It's the best day of my life. Now I knew he would treat me better than Jake.
