Hey guys! I'm all ready to get started with the second movie! I changed the title and the description already, I might go back and change the title if I feel like it. Anyway, let me know what you think, please be nice, this is a rewrite! And enjoy!

After making it to Shipwreck Cove, I let my crew wander around the city, allowing them to take a break. I received some looks of shock, surprise, and confusion as I walked by several pirates who resided at Shipwreck City. I stopped walking as a dog approached me, particularly, a dog with a ring of keys hanging from its mouth.

"Hi there...how are you doing?" I cooed at the dog.

Wait...wasn't this dog at Port Royal at some point? How did it end up all the way over here?

I pet the dog gently, watching him wag his tail in content.

"Well...what do we have here?"

I perked up and quickly got back on my feet, grabbing the hilt of my sword, ready to withdraw it and battle. When I turned around, I felt a smile form on my face as I saw someone I considered to be a father figure in my life.

Captain Edward Teague.

"Are you just gonna stand there, or are you going to give this old man a hug?" He smiled as he outstretched his arms.

I smiled as I ran to Teague, hugging him as though my life depended on it. When we separated, I held out my hand, giving him a formal handshake.

"Hello, Captain Teague." I greeted.

"Captain Barbossa." Teague nodded respectfully.

We walked back onto Teague's ship, catching up and having dinner together.

"Tell me something, dear. I've always wanted to know...how was Jackie boy when you last saw him?" Teague asked.

I tensed up, recalling our last memory together to be bad. I couldn't let Jack be bound to a woman, much less a woman like me, so I left. He argued, not knowing what he'd done wrong (not that he did anything), but in the end, I think I did the right thing by leaving. Jack was his own person, and as much as I cared for him, we were both head strong, we would never be able to live together.

Two captains on one ship? It was laughable.

"He was fine when I left. A little upset, but fine." I answered.

Teague leaned forward watching me closely and intently, as if wanting me to elaborate.

"I knew it wouldn't work...we're too...similar. But we both wanted different things. I couldn't do that to Jack...tie him down to a woman, I mean. It would be like trapping a bird in its cage, never to fly freely again. I just thought it was better if we went our separate ways. Jack will understand soon...I did it for him." I explained.

Teague nodded as he took in my words.

"Did you two ever talk about it?" He raised an eyebrow.

"We didn't have to say anything. I could just see it. And I know Jack all too well. He's a womanizer. Just like his father." I smirked.

Teague chuckled and sat back in his chair.

"Just like his father, eh? I see how it is, dearie."

"Oh don't take it so hard. From what I've seen and heard, you only got better with age, right?" I smiled.

"You're saying I'm old now?" Teague joked.

"I never said that!" I laughed. "Don't twist my words around!"

After we both controlled our laughter and calmed down, Teague smiled warmly at me as he put his hand on top of mine.

"I've always thought of you like my own daughter. If things ever work out with you and Jack, you have my blessing."

"Yeah, well, I don't know if that will happen anytime soon. As soon as I figure things out, maybe we can try..."

As we ate our dinner, we kept remembering the good old days. Like the times where my mother (before she passed away) and father would visit Shipwreck Cove. Sometimes, I would be left with Teague for weeks if my father went on a huge trip. Jack had a strong dislike for his father, but held his tongue when he was around him. But for me, it was an entirely different story. Teague would shower me with gifts, teach me how to swordfight from time to time, and tell me all sorts of stories. Now that I had my own ship, I would often visit Teague, or even Tia Dalma, considering how important they were to me. But when it came to Will and Elizabeth, I couldn't return to Port Royal as much I'd want to. We would write to each other though, as far as I knew right now, they were due to be married soon.

"So...I know this is none of my business, but how did you acquire such a fine ship?" Teague suddenly asked.

I bit the inside of my cheek, trying to figure out how to answer his question, but it was already clear to me that Teague knew everything.

Teague always kept tabs on people, always had sources.

"I bought it." I replied.

"For what kind of price?" Teague gave me a knowing look.

I sat up straight, afraid to answer.

Teague wasn't a man you wanted to mess with.

"I...might have gotten it from Davvy Jones." I confessed.

Teague's eyes widened, knowing that whatever he'd heard from a different source that what I said was true, I'd only confirmed it.

"Lass...what have you done?" Teague sighed and ran a hand over his face.

"Well it was either death or...work for him. I'm pretty convincing though. He helped me get a new ship before I have to surrender myself to him in twenty years. That's the deal." I mumbled.

"Did you learn nothing from what happened to Jack?" Teague glared at me.

"Yeah...speaking of that...his time is almost up, isn't it?" I recalled.

Teague nodded in confirmation.

"Teague...I almost died. After I left Jack, let's just say that under certain circumstances...well...if it wasn't for Jones, I'd be at the bottom of the ocean."

Teague sighed again, but nodded in understanding.

"I get it, you did what you had to do at the time. I'm glad you're alright though."

"Thanks." I smiled.

It might have been several weeks until my crew and I finally arrived at Tortuga. We'd already looted some EITC ships on the way, and we were well stocked, but considering that I thought my crew deserved a well earned break, I decided to sail to Tortuga.

"So...you're...single then."

I glanced at the woman currently sitting beside me, who sent me a sultry and seductive look as she pursed her lips. I blushed as she leaned closer towards me, putting her hand on my arm, while she traced small circles with her index finger.

Bloody hell...how did she end up flirting with me? I didn't know women could be attractive until now. No wonder Jack likes women so much. She's practically gorgeous! How did she end up in Tortuga?

I averted my gaze and took a large swig from my mug.

Now...how to respond without making a fool of myself?

"Well, darling, I am very flattered. I've never met quite a...beautiful woman such as yourself. This is maybe the first time a woman has ever approached me like this." I smirked.

She smiled as she bit her bottom lip.

"I'm not quite like other women as you can tell, Captain Barbossa." She winked.

I ingested more rum, feeling the buzz-like sensation in my head, my mind growing more cloudy.

"Seriously though, love. You are very damn attractive. Why me?" I chuckled.

"Well I- -"

"Captain Barbossa." My first mate cut her off.

The woman glared at my first mate, annoyed that he had interrupted her.

"Yes, Yip?" I asked.

"There's someone askin' for ye. He says he knows you."

Shit...do I owe someone money?

"Uh...did he mention his name?" I smiled sheepishly.

"Turnill...Turner?" He tried recalling.

I immediately stood up from my chair, accidentally knocking over the woman beside me. I scanned the crowd, moving Yip aside after apologizing to the attractive woman.

"Isabella!"

I whirled around, seeing someone I would never have expected to see again. Many emotions hit me all at once: Happiness, confusion, and joy.

"Will!" I grinned.

I pushed people out of my way as I jumped into Will's arms, hugging him like it was the only thing I knew how to do.

Damn I missed him!

"Will! It's so good to see you! Where's your lovely wife, eh?" I wraggled my eyebrows.

Will's smile vanished quickly, suddenly remembering why he was here in the first place.

"...that's what I'm here about. Where's Jack?" Will grew serious.

My smiled faded away as well, especially when I noticed how angry and sad William appeared.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Elizabeth...she's in danger. If I don't find Jack...she'll be hanged." Will looked upset.

My eyes widened from shock at the news.

FOR WHAT?! WHY THE HELL WOULD SHE BE HANGED?!

"But...but why?" I stammered.

"We're both charged for conspiring with pirates. Meaning, you and Jack. After you left Port Royal, everyone figured out your real identity. I need your help." Will practically begged.

"Oh Captain Barbossa!"

I felt my face heat up as the woman from earlier came over and wrapped her arms around me.

"Isabella dear...I thought you and I were having a...intimate moment." She purred seductively.

Will glanced at me in confusion and curiosity, trying to figure out what was going on. I gently shrugged off the woman, pulling her in for a kiss before taking Will with me outside of the pub.

"What was that just now?" Will asked.

"William dear, that...was a damn fine woman." I smirked. "You are very lucky I love you, because that lovely lady back there seemed like she would have showed me a rather good time."

Will's face scrunched up in disgust.

"Isabella. I really didn't need to know that. You're like my sister." Will rolled his eyes.

I escorted Will, taking him aboard the Bloody Deception, locking the door to the captain's quarters before growing serious.

"Alright...let's just start from the beginning. You said that you and Elizabeth are now being charged for conspiring with pirates...why now?"

"From what I've gathered, this Lord Beckett- -"

"Wait...Lord Beckett is sending you after Jack?" My eyes widened.

That man...that evil man...what could he possibly want from Jack after all of these years?

"So you know of him?" Will looked at me suspiciously.

"William. He's the one that branded Jack a pirate. Of course I know of him. He's a powerful man." I defended. "He's a cunning bastard."

"He wants Jack's compass. He's sending me to get it for him. If I don't..."

Elizabeth gets hanged...along with Will.

"When was the last time you saw him? In fact, why aren't you with him now?" Will questioned.

"Things didn't work out. I know we both wanted different things, so I left. That was probably a couple of months ago. I know a guy...I think he knows where he saw the Pearl last. I never really asked him...Jack was always a survivor. I knew he'd be just fine." I answered.

I started taking off my boots before taking off my corset.

"W- -what are you doing?!" Will blushed.

"We'll leave tomorrow, there's no use going now. I know where he'll be in the morning so we'll go then."

"You're not coming with me." Will grew angry.

"Of course I am." I glared at him. "Elizabeth is like my sister. I won't let her die. You're getting my help whether you like it or not. Now get in the goddamn bed." I snapped.

Will's eyes widened in fear before he regained his composure and moved to take off his boots as he got into bed. After getting in on the other side of the bed, I gave Will's hand a gentle squeeze.

"I promise that she'll be okay. I swear on me life." I mumbled softly.

"Thank you." Will muttered. "Just...try not to get hurt alright? I don't want you hurt because of me."

"If anything I should apologize. You're the one getting hurt because of me."

"It's not you that Beckett's after...it's Jack. He's the one they want." Will said. "And why his compass? What's so special about it? It's broken."

If only you knew Will...

"It's not as useless as you'd think, lad. Now let's get some sleep. We're gonna need it."

My pace was quick, but it was not a problem for Will. The very next morning, I was determined to find Jack at all costs. I wasn't going to be selfish...

Not this time.

If Elizabeth was being used as a hostage by Lord Cutler Beckett, things were going to get messy and quickly. I recalled the things I'd heard about this man. Jack held disgust and anger in his tone whenever he would share stories with me. I remember a time where Jack was seen as a traitor to us all, the pirates of Ship Wreck Cove I mean. Jack just trusted the wrong people, and he learned a great deal from that experience. When he became a merchant sailor, he worked for the East India Trading Company. After quite some time, he got a new boss, and began working for Beckett himself. The fact that Beckett made Jack captain of what used to be The Wicked Wench (now known as the Black Pearl) was very surprising. It was when Jack was ordered to cargo slaves, that Jack had enough and set them all free.

And he paid a heavy price for that.

Beckett branded Jack a pirate and burned the Wicked Wench into the depths of the ocean. Jack managed to get on board, but he almost died himself. That was when he met Davvy Jones and struck a deal with him.

And the rest we all know.

The Wicked Wench was resurrected and was now known as the Black Pearl. Jack was probably the first man to outwit Lord Cutler Beckett, from what I could tell, Beckett saw a lot of himself in Jack. The difference between the two was that Jack had honorable intentions. Beckett, however, only wanted power and status, and he would do anything to get that power. Jack was the only person to defy Beckett in such a cunning way.

"Are you alright?" Will asked.

I snapped out of my daze and gave Will a small smile.

"I'm fine." I replied.

I walked faster, making it down to the docks with Will following me closely behind.

"Hey Shrimp!" I called out.

Will grabbed my arm, scolding me as if I was a child.

"You can't just insult people." Will hissed at me.

"No, that's his nickname. It's literally Shrimp." I chuckled.

Will blushed and allowed me to go past him without another word. I approached a black man, mending his sails together. I smiled politely at him and tossed him a small bag full of gold coins.

"Shrimp. You told me that you may know where Jack Sparrow was. Can you tell me where he is?" I asked.

He nodded, stashing the small pouch into his vest before answering.

"Cannot say about Jack Sparrow. But dere's a island, just south of de straits, where I trade spice for... mmm... delicious long pork. Cannot say about Jack. But you find a ship dere. A ship wit' black sails."

Will perked up at the mention of the Black Pearl, most likely pleased that he finally had a lead on Jack's whereabouts.

"Thanks, Shrimp. Maybe we can go for a drink sometime, aye? You're fun to talk to at least." I winked at him.

"I would not be against it." He smiled faintly.

Will stepped forward, looking anxious.

"Can you take us to this island?" Will cut in.

Shrimp nodded again in response and stood up, ready to leave.

I got out a spyglass, looking over at the island we were now closing in on. I glanced over a the ship that Shrimp had mentioned and recognized it immediately.

"Yup. That's it. The Pearl." I mumbled.

"My brother will take you ashore." Shrimp told us.

Soon enough, we're all on a small row boat. It might have been a few minutes of awkward silence before my mind began wandering off again. I hadn't seen Jack for awhile and the thought of us meeting under such circumstances had me nervous. I knew Jack would probably still be mad at me for the way things had ended the last time we saw each other, but I was only thinking about him in the long run. Jack Sparrow was a free man, and I was not going to settle down so quickly either.

But did I make the right choice in running away?

"What's wrong? The beach is right there." Will looked confused.

"Ne bougeais pas, c'est trop dangereux." Shrimp's brother told us.

"What?" Will asked.

"I think he said that it's dangerous. He won't go any further." I spoke up.

"Je ne peux, c'est trop dangereux, j'avais le dit. Bon voyage, monsieur, mademoiselle." The boy said.

With that, Will and I jump off the rowboat together, swimming to the shore. After getting onto the island, we started walking alongside the Black Pearl, noticing how it's tied with ropes to stakes in the sand. Will started to cup his hands around his mouth, calling out for Jack and his crew in attempt to find them. I stayed behind, inspecting the ship and looking along the island suspiciously.

I have a bad feeling about this.

"Jack! Jack Sparrow!" Will called out. "Marty! Cotton! Anybody?"

I hesitantly followed Will, grabbing my sword, ready to fight off any attackers.

They had to have been abducted or something. Why else would the Pearl just be lying on the beach like this? Why come here?

Will and I walked over into the palm jungle bordering the beach. I nearly jumped as Cotton's parrot fly over and land on top of my shoulder.

"Awk!"

"Ah! Bloody hell!" I yelped.

"Ah! A familiar face!" Will smiled faintly.

"Rawk! Don't eat me!" Cotton's parrot spoke up.

"I'm not gonna eat you." Will looked at the parrot in confusion.

"Don't eat me! No! Don't eat me! Akkk!" It flew away.

"Well...I don't know about you, Will, but I'm pretty sure I'm creeped out now." I said. "Maybe we should turn back."

Will continued to investigate, ignoring my comment as he suddenly found Gibbs' husk canteen hanging along a plant.

"Isn't that...?" I trailed off.

"Gibbs." He finished.

Will follows the string attached to the canteen, over toward a large tree.

"Will...I feel like this is some sort of trap- -"

PHEW!

I pulled something from the back of my neck before falling to my knees.

"For fuck's sake..."

My vision went blurry, my eyes rolling to the back of my head before I lost consciousness.

"Isabella!" Will cried out.

I knew something bad was gonna happen.

What the bloody hell? God my head...why does it hurt so much? I didn't drink too much the night before, did I?

I slowly opened my eyes before groaning. Everything was blurry, and I could feel the blood rushing to my head, as if I was upside down.

"I swear to god I won't drink again, just make it stop." I whined.

"Isabella!"

"Will? What the hell's goin' on?" I moaned.

"As far as I can tell, we're dangling upside down, being held captive by natives, who are taking us who knows where...you have to wake up! We need to be alert, so we can get out of here!" Will told me.

I opened my eyes again, hissing at the light and squinting as my vision started to focus and become slightly clearer and more sharp.

"I knew this was a trap! But did ya listen? NOOOOooooo. And why? Because of yer stupid male pride!" I slurred.

"Let it go for now, please! I'd like to escape and find Jack if you don't mind!" Will snapped.

"Dearie, I won't let it go. Do you not know me by now? Until you finally start listening to me, I will keep nagging at you!" I yelled.

At this point, I hear drums banging loudly, I see natives dancing around us. I tried to ignore my headache and look over at a throne. It was hard to see everything upside down, but that man...

Is that Jack?!

The music finally stops as we're brought over to Jack sitting at the throne. Jack's eyes fly open, revealing that his closed eyelids were painted to look like open eyes.

"Jack? Jack Sparrow! I can honestly say I'm glad to see you!" Will chuckled faintly.

Jack says nothing and stands up from his throne, as he walks over to Will and I.

What the hell? What's wrong with Jack?

Jack pushes one finger into Will's shoulder, almost as if inspecting him.

"Jack! It's me! Will Turner!" Will said.

"Wa-say kohn? Een dah-lah. Eeseepi." Jack spoke up.

Okay...what the bloody hell happened to Jack this time?

"Eeseepi." The crowd of cannibals repeated.

"Tell 'em to let me down." Will insisted.

"Kay-lay lam. Lam piki-piki. Lam eensy weensy. Lam say-say... eunuchy. Snip-snip." Jack made a scissor motion with his fingers.

Jack makes his way behind Will, finally noticing me. Shock is evident on Jack's face, and a small trace of fear as well.

"Ahhh... eunuchy!" The cannibals smiled.

Jack grabs a knife and cuts the rope tying me to the bamboo pole. I groaned as I hit the ground, but Jack quickly helps me up, smiling at the cannibals as he wrapped his arm around my waist.

"Say-say, queenie shoop-shala hala." Jack quickly said.

"Queenie shoop-shala hala!" They repeated.

Jack begins to walk away, as if bored, his compass hanging from his waist as he led me over to his 'throne.'

Wait! What about Will?

I groaned and held my head, still feeling woozy from whatever drug was in my system.

"Jack! The compass! That's all I need, Elizabeth is in danger. We were arrested for trying to help you and Isabella. She faces the gallows!" Will confessed.

Jack immediately stops and pauses to think before turning around and walking back over to Will.

"Say-say lam shoop-shoop sha smalay-lama shoo-koo. Savvy? Ball licky-licky. Ball licky-licky!" Jack smiles nervously at the cannibals.

"Ball licky-licky!" The cannibals chanted repeatedly. "Boom-shoo-boom? Boom-shoo-boom? Boom-shoo-boom..."

The cannibals started to carry Will away, but not before Jack gives Will a panicked look.

"Save me!" He whispered.

"Jack, what did you tell them? No! What about Elizabeth? JACK!"

After being carried across a bridge, Will was gone. Before I realiize what's happening, I'm sitting on the throne, my head resting on Jack's chest as I sat on his lap.

How long had I been nodding off?

"Jack...what's going on? Where's Will?" I mumbled tiredly.

"Don't know...now rest up. You're goin' to need it, luv."

I started getting more alert and sat up, ignoring my headache.

Shit...WILL!

Before I could move, Jack brought me closer towards him as if reading my mind.

"Sparrow, if you know what's good for you, you'll let me loose."

"And if I happen to do as such, you'll only be in danger. Just sit tight with dear ol' Jack and shut it." Jack playfully glared at me.

I'm surprised at his behavior. I can feel him shaking...what happened to him?

"Jack. What's going on? At least tell me that much." I looked at him worriedly.

"Story short, we're all being held by cannibals, darling. They think of me as some god, trapped in human form. As long as I act like their chief, I get to stay as their chief." Jack explained.

"Wait...a god in human form? Does that mean they intend to- -"

"Eat me? Yes." Jack replied with a tense smile.

Shit...no wonder he's so nervous.

"Jack...we can get out of this. Relax. I already know that Will is probably coming up with a plan. If I'm guessing correctly, he's probably with the rest of the crew. They'll get out in no time. We just need to think this through and make it back to the ship in one piece, okay?" I assured him.

Jack nodded as he continued to stare at me. After a few minutes of silence, Jack spoke up.

"Why did you leave us?" Jack suddenly asked.

I knew this question was coming, but I never expected it to be so quickly. I was found speechless and taken back by the question, trying to come up with an answer.

"For...for you." I answered.

"You don't sound so sure, luv." Jack faintly smiled.

"I didn't want you to be tied down to someone, Jack. Much less someone such as I."

"Is that all?" Jack raised an eyebrow.

"That, and I know you don't stick with one woman for long. That much I do know for certain. Speaking of which, Scarlet and Giselle wanted me to send you a message."

I slapped Jack in the face, watching him wince as he rubbed his cheek.

"Aye...I deserved that one." He slowly nodded.

I hugged Jack immediately, closing my eyes and kissing his cheek. I could tell he was surprised, but he hesitantly returned the embrace as well.

"I'm sorry I left like that. I'm...I'm so sorry." I mumbled softly. "I just thought I was doing the right thing...for the both of us."

Jack kept silent, but I could feel him nodding again.

Jack seemed tense as the time came near, in minutes, we would both be tied up and roasted alive. I stared at the pile of wood being assembled by the cannibals and felt myself sweating nervously as well.

We had to hurry up and get out of here. But how?

I glanced at Jack, hoping he'd have a plan of escape. The only thing he could do at this point was try to delay everything, or prolong the process of building the 'big fire' for us.

We needed a distraction, and NOW.

"No! Oup! No no! Oy! Wait! No no! More wood! Big fire! Big fire! I am chief! Want big fire! Come on!" Jack yelled.

The cannibals nodded and worked faster, gathering more wood and adding it to their big pile. Jack looked towards the cannibal watching us and turned to him, trying to give him an order. I stood on my feet and went next to Jack, ready to run at any given moment.

"Oy! Boy! Maboogie snickel-snickel. Tout de suite! Come on! More wood!" Jack ordered.

The cannibal standing next to Jack leaves to put more wood on the fire, leaving them momentarily distracted. Jack glances at me and nods before grabbing my hand. In seconds, we ran for our lives, considering they depended on it!

And boy did we run!

I followed Jack closely behind, silently wishing that I still had my sword. I reached down my shirt though, making sure I still had the small knife I hid in between my breasts.

"So what's the plan?" I asked.

"We run!" Jack replied nervously.

"Well obviously! I meant what do we do if we encounter anymore trouble? We need a plan of attack! I only have a small blade with me!" I said.

Jack glanced back at me and his eyes widened slightly when he saw my knife.

"Where did you even get that?!" He yelled.

"You have your tricks and I have mine." I rolled my eyes.

I put the knife back in its hiding place carefully, ignoring the looks I recieved from Jack as we ran across a foot bridge. After reaching a cliff edge, I quickly grabbed the back of Jack's shirt as he nearly fell off of the edge, looking down with wide eyes.

"So what now, Sparrow? We need to hurry before they catch up with us." I said.

Jack stepped back, looking around the area until he grabbed a bamboo stick, considering to use it. He sighs after a few seconds and drops the bamboo stick, knowing there was no use for it. We quickly walked over to a hut, searching for supplies, grabbing rope. I look at the fancy silverware before my eyes stop at a can of paprika. I picked up the can, turning it over to see the EITC logo on the bottom. We both quickly walked out, freezing as we saw the entire tribe waiting silently outside for us, staring at the both of us with a hungry and angry look in their eyes.

"Oh bugger." Jack muttered, dropping the rope.

Jack smiles sheepishly and grabs the can from my hands before sprinkling paprika on his armpits.

"Little seasoning. Eh?" He chuckled nervously.

God damn it all...

The cannibals danced wildly around us as we were now tied up to bamboo poles and hanging over two piles of wood.

"This is just wonderful isn't it?" I groaned.

Jack glanced over at the cannibal that finished tying the rope tighter and nodded at him.

"Well done."

"So Jack...anymore plans of escape? Or am I going to be pirate chow for the cannibals here?" I asked.

"At this point, we're pirate chow, luv." Jack sighed in disappointment.

"Ahhh! Fye-fye!" They cheered.

Suddenly, a small boy, runs across the bridge, stopping in front of the entire tribe completely out of breath.

"Da! Latazo! Da! Litozo! Hay la paka say-say." The boy says.

The tribe stands still and falls silents immediately, glancing over at Jack and I as if they were expecting us to say something.

Did they change their mind? What the hell is going on?

"Well, go on! Go get them! Hay ala!" Jack quickly said.

"Hay ala!" They repeated.

They all ran immediately, dropping the lit torch near the pile of wood underneath Jack. I panicked, trying to think quickly before the fire spread. Jack began panicking though, blowing at the fire, only to result in the fire spreading more quickly.

"Jack! You idiot!" I gasped.

"No! No no! Oy! No no!" Jack yelled. "Not good."

Jack continues to blow at the igniting wood, hoping it would somehow stop. I started to wiggle with all of my might, until finally I fell to ground, still attached to the bamboo stick.

"Jack!" I cried.

Jack glanced at me nodded, following my example until he was also on the ground. He wiggled until his feet were free, but still had his torso tied to the pole. Jack quickly went over to me, helping me to my feet and turned around to use his hands to grab at the rope, until finally getting me loose from the pole. Jack didn't hesitate and finally started running, not seeming to care that he was still attached the bamboo stick.

And so we began running for our lives, hoping not to encounter anymore cannibals. We stop running when Jack encounters a cannibal boy, standing silently with a fork and a knife in both hands. Jack quickly snatches the knife from the boy, and begins to cut his rope off, not caring that he scared the boy away.

"Jack, you know that I have a kni- -" I started.

"Not now! Escape now! Talk later!" Jack cut me off.

Oh Jack...

I rolled my eyes and folded my arms together as I waited patiently for Jack. Suddenly, two cannibal women appear, looking threatening as they glared at us. Jack lets out a yell before charging at the two. They easily step out of the way as Jack stumbles forward, he's stopped when the stick pierces a coconut in a pile near the cliff edge. In seconds, Jack turns, flinging the coconut off the end of the pole and into a cannibal's face. The woman manages to grab the coconut in time, slowly lowering the dripping coconut off her face while scowling darkly at Jack.

Oh now you've done it.

Suddenly, the women start grabbing random fruit nearby and throw as much of it as they can at Jack. I quickly ducked and held my arms over my face, hoping not to get hit.

"STOP IT!"

After a few seconds, Jack finally snaps, causing the women to stop and stare at him in confusion. I lower my arms and stare at Jack, trying not to burst out into laughter when I saw the remaining fruit stuck into the bamboo stick.

"You look like such a lovely appetizer, Jackie-boy." I snickered.

Jack glares at me, before grabbing onto me.

"Hold on."

I wrap my legs and arms around Jack, holding tightly.

"Okay? So what are we doing exactly?-"

Jack begins running and uses the pole to launch us into the air. In seconds, we're both vaulting across the chasm, barely landing on the other side safely.

"Give me a little warning next time!" I snapped.

Jack rolled his eyes as he smirked at my reaction. I got off of Jack brushing dirt and such from my clothes. I heard Jack gasp, and turned around to notice the fruit sliding down to the end of his pole, putting more weight on him, until he started to fall backwards. He quickly grabbed onto me, but only ended up pulling me back with him. In seconds, we fell into the chasm, screaming our heads off.

"JACK YOU MORON!" I screamed.

Jack's pole gets stuck on both ends, and the rope becomes undone, Jack rolling until he's only dangling by his foot.

"Bugger." He grumbled.

I'm screaming as I continue to fall, and Jack's eyes widened before he reaches out and grabs me before I fall any further down the chasm.

"OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD!" I yelped.

"Hey! Relax! Look at me!" Jack yelled.

I try not to look down and crane my head until I'm looking at Jack with wide eyes.

"I'd like to go back to my crew now! OH GOD! MY CREW! I can't believe I just left them in Tortuga like that!" I cried.

"Too late now!"

I gasp as I felt the pole slip down an inch and panic.

"What do we do?! Oh lord! Why did I have to be nice and help Will?! WHY?!"

"GET YOURSELF TOGETHER, WOMAN!" Jack snapped. "We will be fine- -"

The pole moves another inch and Jack immediately holds still.

"On second thought, I take that back. You may resume your panicking, luv." Jack lowered his voice.

The pole slips again, and we're both falling into the chasm again before we know it. I fall into the rope bridge first, my back nearly jolting with pain each time. I counted that we both fell through a total of six rope bridges until finally landing on the ground roughly. Jack falls beside me and looks up before pushing me to the side as the bamboo pole comes down and spears the ground right next to his head along with random pieces of fruit. I'm just looking up at the sky, unsure of how to react to the pain coursing through my body. Jack slowly moves to his feet and comes over to me, snapping his fingers in front of my face.

"You're alright?" He asked.

I glance over at him and try to remain calm.

"I nearly pissed myself. Thanks for that." I breathed out.

"Come on. We have to get to the Pearl. We need to hurry up and make haste." He reminded me.

I nodded slowly and got up on my feet, making sure nothing was broken and that I was unscathed.

"How...how did I survive that damn fall?" I shook my head.

"Luck?" Jack smiled sheepishly.

"I'm angry at you. But for now...let's get the hell out of here." I sighed.

"I couldn't agree with you more, luv." Jack nodded in agreement.

And so we both ran again, determined to make it off of this island alive.

"Oy!"

Jack waved at the Pearl, noticing that the crew had managed to escape. I continued running, trying to ignore the screams of the cannibals chasing us. I grabbed at Jack's hand and pulled him along with me, our pace picking up as we noticed how close they were.

"I'M GOING TO NEED A FUCKING DRINK AFTER THIS!" I hollered at Jack.

"I'M RIGHT WITH YOU!" Jack replied.

Will's as well as Gibbs' reaction was completely priceless and they quickly got onto the ship. We barely made it, but grab the ropes still hanging off of the edge of the ship. Jack waves back to the disappointed cannibals, laughing madly at our victory.

"This is the day you'll always remember as the day you almost- -"

A wave crashes into us, cutting Jack off.

"...Captain Jack Sparrow..." He grumbled.

I glance back at the island, noticing a dog running away from the cannibals. But not just any dog! The very same dog that I saw in Ship Wreck Cove not so long ago when I visited Teague. I'm snapped out of my thoughts as I see Jack's hand stretched out for me. I immediately grab onto Jack's hand and get on the ship.

"Get me some rum and get it now!" I yelled.

I grab a bottle from the nearest person, and chug it down with no complaints.

"Thanks, mate. I needed that."

I turn over and hand over the bottle before nearly choking on my saliva in shock.

RAGETTI?! PINTEL?! What the hell are they doing here?!

I grab my concealed knife, pressing it to Pintel's throat and glaring at him.

"What kind of business do you have here, Pintel?" I practically growled.

Pintel raised his hands in surrender, his eyes wide and full of fear.

"Now hold on just a second! We come in peace, Isabella- -"

"NOT. ANSWERING. MY. QUESTION." I hissed.

"We're just starting anew!" Ragetti spoke up.

"Yeah! What he said!" Pintel smiled sheepishly.

"Now that we're just mortal and all..." Ragetti scratched the back of his head awkwardly.

I slowly lowered my knife, ignoring the looks of shock from the crew.

"If either of you give me reason to not trust you, I'll slit your throats and dump your lifeless carcasses into the ocean as if you were never even here. No one will breathe a word of your names, no one will remember you." I spoke lowly.

Ragetti and Pintel shook as they nodded their head frantically.

"A- -aye sir!" They stuttered.

"If I may just say so, Isabella. I- -I mean Captain Barbossa! It is great to see you again. I apologize for our last encounter." Ragetti smiled timidly.

I stared at Ragetti in confusion, especially when noticing that he was being sincere.

I guess losing your immortality does things. Especially considering that they can die at any given moment.

I stood tall and gave Ragetti a small nod.

"Aye. It was rather unfortunate. I quite liked you. You weren't as barbaric as the others." I gave him a small smile.

Ragetti's smile brightened up and grew bigger at my compliment.

"Thank you, Captain Barbossa." Ragetti said.

"I- -I've always liked you too!" Pintel cut in.

I gave Pintel a blank stare, looking into his eyes for several seconds. Everyone was unsure of how to react, afraid that I would snap and hurt a new member of their crew. After several more seconds of staring down at Pintel, my smile returned instantly and I wrapped an arm around Pintel's shoulders.

"I liked you as well as your friend here." I chuckled. "But I meant what I said before, do anything to break my trust, and I will kill you. I'm not going to easily forget that you used to work for my father before his...unfortunate demise."

With that being said, I walked away.

"Let's put some distance between us and this island, and head out to open sea." Gibbs said.

"Yes to the first, yes to the second, but only insofar as we keep to the shallows as much as possible." Jack replied.

Wait...what?

"Uh, that seems a bit contradictory, Captain." Gibbs said.

"I have every faith in your reconciliatory navigational skills, Master Gibbs, now where is that monkey? I want to shoot something." Jack grumbled.

As if by fate, a monkey screams and drops Ragetti's fake eye before climbing onto the rigging.

Wait...wasn't that my father's pet or something?

"Jack." I mumbled.

The monkey appeared out of nowhere, immediately hopping on my shoulder and rubbing his face with mine affectionately. Everyone stared at me in surprise, knowing that Jack the monkey was pretty much like this only with my father.

"Well...isn't that something? Guess you do take after your father." Jack laughed.

I rolled my eyes at Jack's comment and pet the monkey's head soothingly.

"I'd give you a treat, but I don't have anything on me at the moment." I told the monkey.

"Jack." Will spoke up.

"Ah." Jack turned his attention to Will.

"Elizabeth is in danger." Will reminded him.

"Have you considered keeping a more watchful eye on 'er? Maybe just lock her up somewhere." Jack suggested.

"She is locked up, in a prison, bound to hang for helping you!" Will argued.

"There comes a time when one must take responsibility for one's mistakes." Jack merely replied.

Will immediately pulls a sword from the waistband of a pirate who is standing nearby and points it at Jack.

"I need that Compass of yours, Jack. I must trade it for her freedom." Will glared at him.

Jack gently pushes Will's sword aside.

"Mister Gibbs!" Jack called out.

"Cap'n." Gibbs came over.

"We have a need to travel upriver." Jack informed him.

"By need, d'you mean a... trifling need, uh...a... fleeting, as in say in a passing fancy?" Gibbs tried clarifying.

"No, a... resolute and unyielding need." Jack corrected.

"What we need to do is make sail for Port Royal with all haste." Will cut in.

I sighed and continued to observe the situation.

Jack was going to use Will for something again, wasn't he?

"William... I shall trade you the Compass, if you will help me... to find this." Jack bargained.

Jack handed Will a drawing that was drawn onto a piece of cloth. It was a picture of an oddly designed key.

"You want me to find this?" Will asked in confusion.

Now what does the key go to? That's the question of importance.

"No. You want you to find this. Because the finding this finds you incapacitorially finding and/or locating and your discovering the detecting of a way to save your dolly/dotty belle ol'... what's-her-face. Savvy?" Jack said.

"This... is going to save Elizabeth?" Will grew more confused.

"How much do you know about Davy Jones?" Jack asked.

DAVY JONES? No...he can't be implying...

"Not much." Will replied.

"Yeah, it's gonna save Elizabeth." He smirked.

He wants the heart of Davy Jones. That sneaky bastard always tries to find a way to get out of the messes he gets caught in.

Jack the monkey perched up on my shoulder when he saw Jack coming in our direction, and quickly fled. I snap out of my thoughts and gave Jack a skeptical look, as if telling him I knew what he was up to.

He knew the look I was giving him.

"Ah! Darling! Let us get reacquainted in my quarters shall we?" Jack winked at me.

"I think not, Jackie boy." I smirked. "Don't think for a second that I don't already know what you're up to."

"And what would that be, dearie? I can assure you that I am innocent in all of this." Jack tensed up.

"...I can read you like an open book, Sparrow. Spare me the lies." I chuckled dryly.

Jack's arm wrapped around my waist, quickly bringing us closer together, our lips gently brushing against each other.

Ah...he's trying to distract me, isn't he? Classic Jack Sparrow tactic there.

"Now...what's say we go back to my quarters and...discuss this, eh?" Jack mumbled softly.

My eyes fluttered shut and for a brief second I nearly forgot what had happened, why I left before, it was as if we were never separated and all was well. Jack's free hand caressed my face gently, his thumb brushing across my lower lip. I gasped silently as Jack pressed our lips together finally, trying to coax my mouth open. I arched against him, and felt my surroundings disappear, as if Jack was the only thing that mattered to me. My fists clenched Jack's vest as I felt his other hand squeeze my buttocks. I let out a small and breathy moan as our tongues swiped at each other. It was when my back was being pressed against the door to the captain's quarters, that I was finally brought back to reality. I felt my face heat up and pushed Jack away, before trying to walk away. Jack thought quickly however, and grabbed my hand before I got far.

I can't believe I fell for that! But...I couldn't help it...

"Isabella."

I perked up when I glanced behind me and saw the serious look on Jack's face.

Well that's a first.

"We need to talk, luv. Come on." Jack told me.

I nodded slowly and tried to fight the blush forming on my face.

This is going to be a long journey isn't it?

Well that's it for chapter 1! I hope you enjoyed the rewrite of this story so far! I'll update when I can! I've been swamped with so much schoolwork that I'm so overwhelmed. College sucks, but you think I'd be used to this shit by now right? ANYWAY, let me know what you think! I know there are probably some things I could fix, but I enjoyed writing this too much to go back and change every single thing. Also, if you hadn't picked up on it yet, my OC might be a little bit bisexual. If you're not comfortable with that, I apologize. And if you don't wish to read anymore because of that one minor part of my story, then stop. I'd rather not get any hateful reviews because of this. It's not my fault some people can't be openminded. I'm not saying that my OC is gonna have a relationship with some random woman, but playful flirting isn't that bad, you know? I just wanted to add more depth to my OC and kind of explore the type of person she is. Alright, I'm getting carried away! Sorry! Anyway, please be polite in your reviews at least, I don't want any hate. We live in the 21st century, let's all be mature here okay? I'd do the same for any of you.

xoxo,
