A Day In The Life Of An REC

Prologue

It's a well know fact that some people don't like their jobs. They find their job boring, stressful, or just plain down'an'out dull. Thank God I'm not one of them.(Or what ever deity/sprit/force you believe in) See I have and wonderful job, a great job, a job I wouldn't give up for the world. I am a Random Extra Anime/Manga Character. You've probably even seen me somewhere. My job is simple. When I get up in the morning, I check my email for the day's assignments, then use a Dimensional Teleportation device crossed with a Time Manipulator to get to where I need to go.

But I'm getting ahead of my self. To understand what I do, you must understand who the world is set up. No, I'm not some crazy trying to claim the world is flat, I'm saying that world in basically split in two, with one half split up into hundreds, maybe even thousands of worlds. There far too many to count, so you're guess is as good as mine when it comes to how many there really are.

We all live in the 'Whole' section of the universe, but what we know as comic books, cartoons, manga, anime, any type of fiction is really a representation of a real place, somewhere in the 'Split' side. No-one knows if when someone dreams a story up, that universe is created, or if they are there from the start and the Dreamer somehow became aware of these Universes, or 'Worlds', without realizing that the people they are make stories form are real, as are the stories.

However, in these Worlds, only the main characters are real. Their class mates, the people they meet on the street, all the rest of the world almost, are all REC's. Some are aware that they live in a story, some are not, and end the it all evens out

Some of you might have notice I said that all fiction is like this, but I called myself a REAC. I work for the Japanese culture division, sub-division FanWork.

I did say Everything.

And to be honest, even though some day's its so crazy I don't remember where I am, and sometimes random, Physically Impossible things happen, I still wouldn't give up my job. Pigs could fly, you could go ice skating with the devil, a thousand years could pass, and I'd would still be doing it.

Whadda think, worth finishing?
