Family has a way of keeping you a child forever. The person they don't see, however, is far from childhood. Maybe, that child has grown, and nobody wants to admit it. Series of next-gen drabbles.

1. Victoire

Hey Y'all! So I decided to do some next-gen drabbles, but these ones are a bit different. These drabbles are from the points of view of some of my family members, things that have actually happened to them, or emotions that they're feeling. As I have mentioned in other A/N's, I have a rather large family. I write about them so I can understand them better, and form healthier relationships. Well, that's all for my babbling, enjoy! ^.^

Victoire

I'm supposed to be the perfect one: the role model. I'm the Ravenclaw with the most N.E.W.T.'s in my year. I'm the beautiful, responsible, first-born… the one who the parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles are proud of and the siblings and cousins are jealous of. But now, as music is blasting, my hand is wrapped around the neck of a bottle of firewhisky, and my tongue is down the throat of some boy that I have only known for 5 minutes, I let the stereotypes my family has put on me for years go. I become the Victoire nobody expects me to be, and that's exactly why I can get away with it.

That was my first attempt at a drabble, tell me what you think! Oh, and who else saw The Deathly Hallows today? I thought Harry and Hermione's friendship was portrayed quite well in that actually, and I thought the little dance scene was reeeeeaaally cute… Maybe I'll write about that after I'm finished with this series ;D.
