As I look out onto sea that had spread out in front of me as I came out of the woods that hugged the shoreline, I sat down my bag of art supplies, unfolded my art easel, pulled out a canvas, and began to paint. The scene was perfect. The sun was setting in its red-to-orange glory as the sky was a deep purple at the top and turning into a red at the bottom of the sunset. The waves were a blue-violet with yellow sunlight dancing on the top of the waves that the wind created. God it was a breath taking sight.
As I had finished the painting, and was comparing to the real thing, I did not see a man with tri-colored hair come out from the shadows, with a mischief slash passionate gaze as his eyes caressed my body. He snaked his arm around my waist and whispered in my ear:
"In comparison, your beauty pales the sunset." he said it in the most huskiest tone that his deep voice could muster,
"Jeez Yami; Why do you feel inclined to scare me half to death?" I gasped, clearly oblivious to his motives…
"I am sorry that I scared you… but I did not know you would be here, so when I had seen you, when your body was touched by the sunset… I had to see you." Yami whispered in my ear,
His breath brushed against my skin, leaving goose-bumps in its wake, his head dipping into the nap between my neck and shoulders, as he breathed in my scent, my thoughts had turned a little… sensual. I gazed into those beautiful, gleaming jewels that were his eyes, those eyes of his started to get close and closer still, until his soft lips were on my own. I closed my eyes in the over-whelming bliss that covered my senses, so I did not feel my feet move with Yami's body towards that woods, I did not sense my clothes disappearance… but I did feel the way he loved me, and he knew exactly WHERE to love me.
Ever since then our souls have been intertwined and has constantly beat to a song that only we could hear; three years after this little accident, Yami got down on one knee, and promised his life, and devotion to me. We were married three months later, and our little girl and boy were born nine months after. When Yami held his children in his arms… he looked like if nothing had been be able to tear him down from this moment, he smiled at me and, well, as they say…
We lived happily ever after… and I couldn't ask for anything better.
Alrighty then! After reading that story again I had seen some glaring mistakes with the character I was trying to push it towards seeing as she has evolved since this fic, so, I made it a little bit more… hazy, as to who it is. Of course, there is puzzleshipping if you squint, since I'm a sucker for it... Also! This was my first story to ever post on this website back in... 2009? Yeesh, I was a freshman back then...
