"Hey Jack!"
"Mmm, yeah?" he asked, tearing his gaze from the tree he was freezing icicles on.
Lucy tilted her head, grinning. "Do you know what snow becomes when it melts?"
Bemused, Jack cocked an eyebrow. "Of course I do. It turns into water."
"Nope!" she retorted with a shake of her head. Her grin widened as she answered, "It becomes spring."
Jack smiled back. Her cheer was simply infectious. "Yes, it does."
