The opening scene begins by fading into a beautiful and bright sunny day. The bright yellow sun made it a good day to go outside. There were white clouds, scattered all over the clear blue sky. Switching the camera focus from sky to ground level, a large body of water is now shown. It was clear, beautiful, and made natural soothing sounds in peace. In the background, there were rolling pine-covered hills with cliffs on several of them, serving as evidence from previous elemental effects. In the foreground was a brown wooden dock, worn out and close to falling apart.
Suddenly, a seemingly young man pops into camera view from below! He looked very handsome, possibly in his late twenties or early thirties, with well-styled gelled black hair. He had the right amount of stubble. His majestic black eyes and clear peach skin tone was obviously apparent for the camera. His outfit consisted of a dark blue khaki shirt, brown pants, and white shoes. Underneath his outer clothing was a white long-sleeved shirt. Around his neck was a necklace, with some brown bag shape in the middle. Despite being dressed in a casual style, suitable for the outdoors, his clothes were very clean and full of high quality.
"Yo!" The man greeted. "We're coming at you live from Camp Wawanakwa! Located here, in Muskoka, Northern Ontario!" His tone was one with excitement.
"I'm your official host, Chris Mclean! It's time to begin season one of the hottest new reality TV show, right now!" He had an appropriate level of professionalism while speaking, and with good reason.
A new scene begins with Chris now walking down the dock, continuing his explanation. There was also some background music playing for the audience.
"Here's the deal: twenty-four high school teenagers have signed up to spend eight weeks right here at this crummy old summer camp." He reached the dock's end, stopping next to a sign that reads, "Camp Wawanakwa". Despite the low quality of it and possibly Camp Wawanakwa itself, he appeared quite satisfied.
"Originally, there were suppose to be twenty-two contestants competing, but since the show's budget had been raised, two more have joined them." He flashes a bright white smile at the camera.
"Anywho, they'll compete in challenges against each other, then face the judgment of their fellow campmates." He lets out a chuckle.
The background music shifted into something more subdued, suitable for drama.
"After each challenge, the winners will receive rewards that could benefit their camp life here. As for the losers," He stops to chuckle again. "They'll have to vote out and watch one of their teammates get eliminated from this competition!"
The scene changes again to another new part of camp. It's a clearing surrounded by large rocks. On the right was a tall wooden camp entrance and an upright metal oil drum. On the left was another entrance, in a form of small stone staircases. In the center was a fire pit, all burnt out because it was daytime currently. There was also an organized group of twenty-four brown wooden stumps to serve as seating, located near the rocks.
Chris pops back into camera view, approaching from the right. He stops right in front of the metal oil drum.
"Their fate will be decided here, at the dreaded and dramatic campfire ceremony! Each time, all but one camper will receive… a marshmallow." He picks up an untoasted marshmallow on a stick off-screen.
"Once twenty-two campers are eliminated, whoever wins the final challenge will be rewarded with," He uses his other remaining free hand to pick up a magazine off-screen. Upon closer inspection, his face is on the front cover. "Cheesy tabloid fame, and!" He throws the stick and magazine away off-screen before finishing his sentence.
"A large fortune of One! Million! Dollars!" He throws his arms up for emphasis on the last three words before putting them back down. "Let's face it though, they'll probably blow all of that within a few weeks!"
The background music picked up again, still in a dramatic style.
"To survive, they'll have to battle the dangerous wildlife," The shot switches to a large brown grizzly bear roaring menacingly while swiping away at multiple black flies.
"Disgusting camp food so gross, it'll make anybody's stomach feel queasy," The shot switches again to show a plate of spaghetti with yellow larvae.
"And worst of all, each other!" The shot switches again back to Chris, who is still standing at his spot. His smile and movement remained nearly unchanged.
"Every public moment will be caught on one of these cameras, hidden all over camp!" The shot switches to show a bird feeding its hatchlings. In the nest was a camera, situated next to them.
"Of course, for obvious reasons, there won't be any cameras in private areas!" The shot switches again to show an out-of-place totem pole. A camera is duct-taped on its side near the top.
The shot switches again back to Chris, still remaining at his spot.
"Who will crumble under the pressure? What events will arise from this premiere? And who will ultimately walk away one million dollars richer?" He asks, hyping up the audience.
"Find out here," He double-points at the camera. "Right now, on," The point-of-view changed to a spot further back. It continues to zoom out on each of the host's last three words. "Total! Drama! Island!"
The scene fades out into static blackness.

A new scene begins as it fades into the opening theme.
Dear Mom and Dad, I'm doing fine;
You guys are on my mind!
You asked me what I wanted to be,
And now I think the answer is plain to see!
I wanna be… famous!
I wanna live close to the sun!
Well pack your bags, because I've already won!
Everything to prove, nothing in my way;
I'll get there one day!
'Cause I wanna be… famous!
Na-na nananana, nanana-nana, na-nanananana
I wanna be! I wanna be! I wanna be famous!
I wanna be! I wanna be! I wanna be famous!
There is some whistling in rhythm to the tune. Once the theme song ended, it fades out into static blackness.

A new scene begins as it fades into the premiere episode. Chris is shown standing at the dock's end, still maintaining his smile.
"Welcome back to Total Drama Island!" Said Chris, looking directly at the camera. "Alright! It's time to meet our official campers!" His level of excitement was growing by each second.
"We told them they'd all be staying at a five-star resort, so, if they seem pissed off, that's probably why." He turns his head towards the right and gasps in excitement.
"Here comes our first contestant!" He points at the transportation vehicle off-screen. A medium-sized white yacht comes by and stops next to the dock.
Chapter Cliffhanger!
Author's Note – Alright! That concludes the only non-official story chapter in Total Rewind Island! I apologize if there wasn't any interesting content in this chapter, but the juicy dramatic events are gonna happen later for sure! Yes, thanks to the cliffhanger, this is gonna be a character-submitted story! Although this is my first story on FanFiction, I am still familiar with the character application process. There aren't too many rules, so it should provide a lot of freedom for you. The rules and application are listed down below this author's note. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to ask through private messaging. I'll be online every day, so responses will happen frequently. Other than that, I really don't have a lot to say about this chapter, since it's only the introduction. Until next chapter, stay woke!
Total Drama Rewind Application Rules
1. You must submit two OCs! It must be one guy and girl! It sounds weird and crazy, but I don't wanna reject anybody's character just because there aren't enough spots for a specific gender.
2. You must submit your OCs through private messaging! I will not take any submissions from the reviews because of the rule above. I also wanna build suspense, and it won't happen if your submissions are in the reviews section. I apologize, but making an account shouldn't be that difficult!
3. I won't hold or save spots for anybody!
4. Your characters must be realistic! I won't go into further detail on this rule because it should be really obvious.
