A/N: Just an incredibly random one-shot. I'm praying for the day where Daiki lets Satsuki wear his jersey, that'll be the happiest day of my life. I'm sorry if this has been incredibly random of some sorts. I'll try to do better.

DISCLAIMER: I own nothing.

Practice had just finished, and as planned, Daiki and Satsuki were to go shopping for basketball gear. But first thing's first, "Oi Satsuki," he called rather directly, catching her full attention.

Looking up from her chart, said teen slowly made her way to him. Her magenta eyes filled with utmost curiosity, it was enough for him to know what he wanted. She stopped when she was a foot away from him.

Without warning, a dark cloth draped over her head, causing her to shriek in surprise. His ears nearly bled.

"Dai-chan! What is this?" she asked quickly, taking the cloth from her head to inspect it. To her surprise, it was his jersey. She gave him a questioning look.

He turned away, acting nonchalant.

"If we're going to go shopping, wear that at least…" he says lowly. "that way, when those goons approach, at least they'll know when to back off and keep their slimy hands away."

The bubble gum-haired teen was taken aback, gripping his jersey unto her chest. It took a while before a smile eventually crept its way to her mouth.

"Okay then."

Down by the shopping district, he was especially particular with keeping himself close to her.

Aomine Daiki twitched.

It was just another one of those days.

But today was different.

If before, when they were together, there'd be lecherous stares from unlikely men from every corner, but now that she was wearing his jersey with Touou's ace right by her side, things were different. With just one look at her jersey, there had been an amazing effect of men straying away with a disappointed look. Satsuki made notice of this.

But it was when she felt Daiki's arm around her waist did she find herself smiling, coming terms to what he had intended to do all along by letting her wear his jersey.

He wouldn't say it aloud, but damn, she looked good in his jersey.

Not really knowing what came into him, he just randomly thought of doing this as some sort of sick experiment - to check how Satsuki would look in his jersey, which of course, obviously fits her snuggly and perfectly, and to check the results of her wearing it.

The results did not fail him.

He'd like to think that it was the magic of his name, being one of the key players in Tuouo or Generation of Miracles, but either way, he was glad. At least he was known at some point.

And besides, she really looked good in his jersey. She looked perfectly his.

Inwardly, he smiled to himself.

Maybe he should let her wear his jersey more often.
