Her soft red eyes met the horizon of the setting sun. The setting red sun nestled next to a few grand weeping willows, quietly as if the wind was singing the sun a lullaby. The colors of the fading sun spread out one final grasp upon the waking world, brilliant pink to orange to bright red and finally fading to a deep crimson only to fall tragically to black. As if in a trance she looked up to the sky as the glimmer of stars and other plants come into focus. She counted a recited each constellation and pointed to various planets. After becoming disenchanted with the stars she laid back against the plush grass on the hill behind her dainty frame. Her light yellow sundress lay at each side of her ending at her knees, soft lace tickled her skin and pastel pink flowers danced on the fabric as the wind graced it.
"Somewhere… The humans live out there…" Whispering softly as she brushed her deep ruby hair behind her elf like ear. A young man standing six foot, five inches with raven black hair and deep blue eyes stood behind her patiently waiting with his hands in his pockets.
"Rinkou, if we don't go we'll miss the train again and I'll never get you on that date." He purred vocally accepting his victory in finally asking miss Rinkou to accompany him on a walk through the gardens.
Gently and playfully swatting in his directions standing up to meet his stare. "I know, I know. I just feel like. I don't know. I guess, I can't think when you're touching my ass!" She hissed and her hand made contact with his cheek before she knew what could happen. "Oh, I'm sorry... Seig, why me?" She turned to look at him in the eye to search his gentle face for any emotional reaction.
"Why not?" His answer was monotoned and emotionless. It sent chills down her spine, his voice was always so gentle and cheerful, he was tall, slenderly toned with muscle, and had a smile that could brighten up anyone's day.
Rinkou shifted uncomfortably, "Well, we best get going." She grabbed his hand to run to the train, soft skilled hands, with such a strong grip, he held her back. Staring at the ground he looked up slowly, his eyes piercing what felt like her very soul. A small smirk crept along his lips as he pulled her into a deep hug. In a swift motion he wrapped one arm around her waist and the other around her neck. She took a sharp breath in and fell against his chest.
"Seig… I…" Her face burned red like a fiery ember freshly cast from the flame. He took a small step back and smiled brushing her hair back with his hand running his fingers through her hair.
"I have been waiting so long, ever since we were kids and we'd run through the corridors of the palace and get scolded by the maids and butlers…" His voice trailed off then he started to smile. "I've always been in love with you. I can't help it, and I'm sorry."
Rinkou blushed deeper and leaned up into his embrace. He stopped smiling for a moment and placed both on his hands on her shoulders and gently pulled her into a soft kiss. Her face burned like a dry forest. She could feel his tongue brush against her bottom lip requesting entry, she hesitated for a moment but obliged his request. His hands gripped on her shoulders a little harder as he deepened the kiss, his tongue entering further into her mouth and a dance for dominance began and ended just as quickly as she gave way to him. She thought to herself.
-so this is it, my boyfriend, Seig Warenhardt, the elvish Prince of night has chosen me… A simple daughter of a common woman… I can totally see this going over well with his parents-
