Author's Note: (Waves insanely fast.) Hey people! Aliens, cats, dogs, whoever, hehe. I'm back! Well... With this new poem at least, I'm still struggling with my writers block... (Deep sigh) Can't get the right things down. This thing got me thinking while seeing the ending of Final Fantasy VII again. It's conected to a few personal things. You're always there for me...
My light in darkness.
My sun in the rain
My cure for this disease...
The ether for this pain.
You're my best friend...
You're like the other half of me.
The beat of my heart.
Without that beat...
What's the use of this heart?
And it feels like it's slipping...
It's all fading away.
I got no grip at all.
Although I try...
I just cry and crawl.
I can't get my view on this.
I can't take a grip.
There's nothing I can do.
And the only thing I think about...
Is you.
And I try to laugh...
Hide the pain.
At least bring up a smile.
When I try...
My heart just cries all the while.
I can't even see you...
Hear your voice, to know you're ok.
I've got nothing to say.
And while you're there,
Remaining here, is where I stay.
This single tear is falling...
Cold and filled with pain.
I've got no more tears to shed.
And the only thing I'm missing...
Is all I ever had.
You were my escape...
You were the place I could go.
Eyes red of pain, once so brown
You know me through and though...
Inside out and upside down...
