I'm Not Going To Leave You!
I stared at the stunning boy standing in front of me, his serious crimson eyes staring into mine.
"Mikan… you have to go… you're not safe here!" Natsume said, his tone completely serious but sounding slightly lonely at the same time.
"No!" I replied, "I can't leave. Not yet. There are so many things I haven't done and something I haven't told you yet!" This is my moment to tell him. Tell him about my undying love for him. He reached up to my cheek and rubbed my swollen red eyes. It was definitely clear that I had been crying.
"Please, Mikan… for me." That Natsume can be such a moron at times! He was always a moron. He never realized my feelings for him, the reason why I can't leave him. I could feel the presence of organization Z gradually getting closer to where we were.
"I can't… I can't leave you Natsume!" I cried. How I longed to be able to say his name again. I loved the tingle on my lips whenever I called his name; it was like it was a magic word. A word I could only say a few times.
"You have to leave… I promised I would protect you Polka Dot!" I unconsciously glared at him. He was never going to drop that nickname he gave me.
"I can't leave you… because… because I love you, idiot!" The strange tingle on my lips when I said those three words made blush, but that was to be expected. I'll tell you what I didn't expect! I didn't expect Natsume to pull me in close and kiss me, I mean, we've kissed before… but that was for stupid reasons. This time, he meant it.
"I love you too," he whispered, "but you still have to go. I'll stay behind and distract them. They can't get you and your two Alices. You're too precious to me." More tears fell down my cheeks as he said this.
"Natsume," I whispered, "you really are a idiot! You expect me to go away and watch you get hurt! I can't bare it… if your going to fight I'm going to fight with you. I don't want to watch."
"Then don't watch, just go!" He whispered, looking down at the ground. I grabbed his hand and pulled him with me, not letting go.
"Then you're coming with me, even if you protest. It's one way or the other." He nodded in response and ran after me. At least I could spend a little more time with him, perhaps, we can start a new life away from Alice Academy and raise a family. I don't want anything to happen to Natsume, just as it happened to my Daddy. I just love him too much.
My little fan-fiction about Natsume and Mikan, I hope you all like it. It was just a spur of the moment-type-thing. I'm currently obsessed with Gakuen Alice. You can blame… no one but me. I'm completely 100% to blame on this one. Nope. No violence in this little one shot. LOL. I'm not in the mood for anything gorey. Probably 'cause it's near Christmas.
