Alright! So I discovered this series after setting a spider on fire, and it's pretty awesome! I'm not sure who I'll pair Mabel with, so if this gets any fans I'll let them decide. Though I'm thinking either Boris or Ace.
Please review! Thanks!
"Alice!" a young woman, with brown hair that fell in unkempt ringlets called. She wore a dress of black and purple, with a big bow on the back. Her legs were thick from years of running which didn't quite match the rest of her thin body. She cupped her hands over her mouth as she strode through the gorgeous Victorian landscape. Her body bounced up and down vigorously on the sharp cobblestone pathway, but she didn't mind. The sketchily constructed roller-skates attached to her feet bounded about like a jackrabbit as the young woman pressed forwards. In hindsight, skates weren't the best invention for someone living in a world of uneven roads. But that didn't matter because; to Ada Dinah Mabel at least, it was still amazingly fun.
"Alice! Alice! Ali Ali Alice! It's me, Ada! Or Dinah or Mabel if you prefer! I brought you chocolate from Switzerland!" she howled, hoping her friend would prefer the name Mabel as it was her favorite. Most people referred to her as Miss Dinah Mabel, Ada was almost never used unless she happened to be in trouble with her parents. The girl spun around, zooming forwards and vaulting over a small fountain gracefully. Her skates slammed against each other sloppily and Mabel was thrown forwards. The flesh was torn from her knees and elbows in a bloody fall. Mabel stretched out on the grass, not giving the slightest care about her injuries. She noticed the presence of a small black cat and plucked it off the ground.
"Hey Kitty! How are you today?" Mabel beamed. The child let her feline friend squirm from between her fingers. She got down on her hands and knees, following along closely. It wasn't her best idea, as a huge trail of blood was left behind her.
The black cat led her to a large, circular, ditch. Mabel shoved her head inside, steadying her torso with both hands. She didn't see anything but darkness. The girl pulled her body back up slowly and carefully as not to fall down. She wondered how far it went and what was at the bottom as she grabbed a small white cat and set her next to Kitty. Mabel ducked back into the hole, craning her neck so she could get a better look. A pair of heavy hands came crashing down on her back suddenly. And Mabel went plummeting down the hole.
She fell for what seemed like days. It was a constant, stomach dropping, pulse pounding, sensation for hours on end. Mabel passed jars of jam and pantries and all sorts of odd items. She was surprised at how easy going things were despite the heaving sense in the put of her gut. Just as she was beginning to get used to the intense feeling, her body was crushed to the ground. Mabel lifted off the ground slowly, rubbing the large bump on her head. Her vision was blurred and hazy, which caused the young woman to rethink not positioning herself feet first. It would have been a much pleasanter fall. Or at least as pleasant as a fall can be. Mabel sat up tiredly, blinking a few times. Once her eyesight returned, she noticed the strange place she was in. Huge mushrooms of shimmering iridescence were everywhere. They were striking, tall and gorgeous with their stripes and polka dots that shone in the moonlight. Tiny spores that glowed green in the darkness floated around Mabel in a stunning display.
"Curiouser and curiouser..." she gasped.
