Hannah was busily typing on her computer, updating her Facebook (nor do I own Facebook) page, wishing all her friends luck for the next day, their first day of their Senior Year at McKinley High School. She looked around the door of her bedroom creaked open. It wasn't only hers however, she shared with Lily, her only female sibling. Hannah wasn't the least bit surprised when Lily came in slowly.
"Hannah?" she said softly. Hannah stopped typing and swiveled her chair around to face her little sister. "I'm scared to go to kindergarten." Hannah slid of her chair and squatted down to her sisters level, placing her hands on he shoulders.
"What for Lils" she asked the little girl.
"What if I don't know anyone" she sniffed.
"You know Logan and Luke"
"Yeah, but what if they don't want to play with me because they have new friends?"
"You'll have new friends too Lily, I was scared on my first day of Kindergarten too"
"Really, why?"
"Your big brother Will told me it was really scary and some people died the first day, and never came home" Lilly's eyes widened.
"But Willy is so nice! It's my favorite when he comes home from college to see me!"
"When he was 7 though, he wasn't always nice"
"But you lived right Hanney? Did you make friends?"
"Yes I did Lils, I made a friend called Jennifer on my first day of Kindergarten and we played dollhouse and colored and even sat next to each other at storytime."
"You really did? I like coloring and dollhouse and stories"
"Yes I did, and Jennifer is still my friend today, you've met her"
"Sissy Jennifer?" Hannah asked.
"Sissy Jennifer" Hannah confirmed.
"I love sissy Jennifer she's my most favoritist person except you and mommy and daddy and Lukey and Logey and Willy and Marky and Aary and Coey and Joey and you!"
"I love you too Lily" Hannah smiled hugging her little sister.
"I can't wait untill tomorrow" Lily smiled.
