DISCLAIMER- Only Ariel is mine

He sat in the chair watching his seventeen-year-old daughter Ariel like he had been doing for the last seventeen years. He glanced at the clock on her nightstand. 9:08AM.

Annette walked in the room.

Annette. He thought. The only person I ever loved. I wish you could see me.

"Ariel, wake up," Annette opened the window blinds. The golden sunlight came in.

"What?"

"You're gonna be late," reluctantly the teenager got out of her bed and walked to the bathroom.

Annette walked to her bedroom and pulled out an old leather journal from under her pillow, opening it. She looked at the entries and pictures. She had published it as 'Cruel Intentions: A Journal of Sebastian Valmont'. It was mainly to get back at Kathryn. The other part was so Sebastian's memory would live on and people could know what he was really like. She wiped a tear away.

"I wish you could see her Sebastian," she put the book away.

I can see her. He thought. And she's beautiful like you. He reached out and moved a strand of blond hair from her face. She looked up straight at him, but not seeing him.

"Sebastian?" her tear-filled eyes darted back and forth searching for hi figure.

"What did you say Mom?" Ariel walked in.

"Nothing," Annette brushed the final tears away then faced her daughter. "You look beautiful."

"Thanks. Lets go," Ariel ran down the steps. Annette followed but stopped at the door and took on last look at the room

"I love you," Sebastian said out loud.

"I love you too," Annette left the room. Sebastian followed her down the steps and followed Annette and Ariel out the door.
