'Say it again'
She smiled at him as she brought her cup of tea to her lips. Their eyes didn't leave the other, although he was a bit too much distracted to drink his own tea. Even after all these years, he got lost in her beautiful green eyes.
"Teresa?"
"Hmm?" She was just swallowing some tea.
"Say it again."
A sparkle appeared in her eyes. She instantly knew what he was getting at.
"Say what again?"
His eyebrows raised playfully. He saw she barely managed to contain her chuckle. Instead, she stubbornly raised her chin and looked at him with one of the most intense looks he had ever seen. She put down her tea and moved over to him, grabbing his hand and putting it on her belly.
Her lips moved to his ear and placed a soft kiss there.
He was a quivering mess, his tea shaking in his cup.
"I'm pregnant."
