Disclaimer: Don't own Van Helsing or Monty Python
A short 2 ½ Drabble. There are so many Anna-isn't-dead stories (not that they are bad or anything) that I just couldn't resist… especially since I'm also a big Monty Python fan g
I'm not dead yet
Garbiel Van Helsing stared down at the body of Anna Valerious, the woman he loved. He had killed her.
"No…" He broke down weeping and stared at the floor.
After some time he seemed to pull himself together an got up.
"Dear Anna, you shall not have died in vain! I will continue my fight against darkness in your name!"
"I'm not quite dead, Van Helsing," replied a slightly shaky voice.
He took a few steps away and went on: "Brave Anna! You shall not have been fatally wounded in vain!"
"I think I could pull through, Gabriel." Anna said and sat up.
"Good Anna… stay here and rest awhile, whilst I vanquish evil in your name!"
"I think I'll be all right to come with you."
Anna stood up, but Van Helsing gestured for her to sit down again.
"I will send help, brave friend, as soon as I have accomploshed this most daring, desperate adventure in this genre!"
"Really, I feel fine, Gabriel." Anna protested.
"Farewell dear Anna!" Van Hesling called and swung himself on a convieniently hanging rope to the door. He reached it after swinging back and forth a few times, and after Anna gave him a little push into the right direction.
For a moment she just stood there, watching him stumble down the front steps. Then she sat down on a – also convieniently standing around – sofa and sighed, completely ignoring the fact that she was still in Dracula's castle.
"I'll just wait here, then."
