He supposed that was why they got along remotely well. Because the pair of them had a common enemy.

If remotely well meant fighting every chance they got anyway. But at least it made them stronger, he supposed.

Maybe it was because they didn't have a common enemy after all. Though they should. The rat of the zodiac. They were the cat and the cow after all.

And then, Yuki came along and messed up half the equation.

'Are you a fool?'

'No!'

'I didn't think you were.'

Almost made him wish the cat was a part of the zodiac. But that was a whole different ballgame.

They didn't have a common enemy after that.

He was also unable to beat Kyo after that.
